I had some dreams a few weeks ago and they still bother me.

I remember one night dreaming that flaming balls were shooting down from the sky. I was at a swap meet, helping a man set his things under tents b/c it was going to storm when these flames shot down from the sky.
It didn't take me long to, in my dream, remember that I am safe from this b/c I am saved. But I did turn to two young girls, and asked if they would like to pray with me. It was the Lord's Prayer.
Then I remember running to my mother's home. I was in a city I did not recognize. For some reason I felt I was in Oregon, where my dad lived, and then at times I felt like I was in CA where my mom lives.
As I ran to her, I suddenly saw a circus come down from the sky. But I knew this circus was not of God so I ran around to avoid it. Got to my mother and one of the flames hit her, and burned her face.

I do not know if my mother is saved, or if the dream had anything to do with that. I am Baptist, and my mother used to let my neighbors take me to church. She never went to church with me,never.

The dream was like no other dream I've ever experienced before.

A few days later I had another dream that involved my mother and a robber (who broke into her home while at work,to get food), and just remembering helping this robber b/c she was youngry, but also feeling as though I needed to protect my mother from the robber, if it happened again. I didn't feel as though the robber was bad. Just hungry.

Two nights ago I dont remember my dream but my husband says I woke up yelling for my mother.

Well thought I'd share my dream. It helps to get it off my chest. given me a lot to think about. I am very sad because I don't kmow if my mother is saved. How do I go about finding out. She might group me with the bible thumpers and pay no attention to me.

Put your worry about your mother into ardent and private prayer to God. If it is severe enough, couple that with fasting (in secret, do not let even your husband know). It sounds like God is giving you some inspiration to do this. So use it.

And expect answers, is all I would add.

Do not think nor worry nor plan on this, but put all of your thoughts as prayers to God. Also, sit down with God in prayer on these matters. Do not, however, babble on "as the pagans do", though you may beg God repeatedly for an answer.

As for then "knowing your mother is saved" -- God is good. He would not concern you about your mother just to have you pray hard for her only to see her die unsaved... or some other horrible end.

See if this speaks to your dream:

John 10

The Shepherd and His Flock

1"I tell you the truth, the man who does not enter the sheep pen by the gate, but climbs in by some other way, is a thief and a robber. 2The man who enters by the gate is the shepherd of his sheep. 3The watchman opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. 4When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice. 5But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger's voice." 6Jesus used this figure of speech, but they did not understand what he was telling them.

7Therefore Jesus said again, "I tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep. 8All who ever came before me were thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. 9I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. He will come in and go out, and find pasture. 10The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

11"I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. 12The hired hand is not the shepherd who owns the sheep. So when he sees the wolf coming, he abandons the sheep and runs away. Then the wolf attacks the flock and scatters it. 13The man runs away because he is a hired hand and cares nothing for the sheep.
14"I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me— 15just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep. 16I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd. 17The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life—only to take it up again. 18No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father."
