So how's it going have we learned anything new how should we understand the scriptures should we jest understand it as it is written or should we try to disect every word and change the meaning of them to support our latest theory.

I personally understand & read them as they are written, to dissect every word would be so tedious & mind boggling taking away the pleasure of God's words.

Thank you for your reply to which I can agree I believe God wants us to know who he is and what he is doing and what he is going to do in the future and he is giving this information in simple stories I don't believe he wants us to learn ancient languages to understand what he is doing or going to do he did not try to convince the well educated of his day but preached to the ordenary working men of his day and expected them to understand and we have his words in the NT and we should try to understand them as they are written and not try to change them.
How should we understand the letters from the apostles I believe they were given to them by the Holy Spirit and should be understood as the word of God and we should never try to change them.
