If her writings are inspired, then why can't they be used as scripture?

Who decided the canon? and why is Enoch not part of it?

Brother, I know God works through people, and so does Satan; thus we are commanded to distinguish between true prophets, and false prophets...

Those who follow Christ have His word abiding in their hearts, and are able to discern between what is true, and what is false, despite what any scholar might say:

if you've got something to learn, then it is not from me, but from the Spirit of Prophecy, Who is the Spirit of Christ, and the only Teacher to the Children of God.

This is a Seventh-day Adventist Forum. We don't hold to your definition of the Spirit of Prophecy, simply because it is biblically incorrect. People are down on what they're not up on. Most people who form a negative view of the ministry of Mrs. White do so from reading what others write or say about it--not from reading it for themselves.

Your hostility towards me is unfounded, and unnecessary, I assure you.

Firstly, I'm sorry that you did not recognize my statements as the truth:

I cannot makeup my own definitions concerning the things of God, for I am His servant, and He is my Father; wherefore in all that I say, I must do my best to obey Him, and to receive correction from where ever He may provide it.
