Those are some of my favorite verses. I take real comfort in verses 6-7; and great counsel as to what thoughts should be occupying my mind.

2 Corinthians 1:3-4 King James Version (KJV)
3 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;

4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

So, anything that is comforting, encouraging, and uplifting has it´s origin of God. He is the God of all comfort.

to "Monksailor" and then you responded with two great verses which are appropriate to the subject matter being addressed.

I had to post it because it´s one of my favorite verses when I feel like everything is falling apart and also it is my compass in life, if it´s not uplifting or comforting or encouraging it is not for me or for my life. Thank you all for sharing lovely verses we all need them espesially now when there is too much hatred and fear.Bless you all.
