The mentality of a servant depicts the truth that the servant does not understand what truth is, and therefore cannot abide in the house that is God forever as a state of who he is.
Know the father and you will know who you are ...
Lay-hold on the life that is eternal ...
We one with God and it is not by labor of thought that we attain to it or keep it.
A son is free.
For someone who doesnt labor in thought you sure seem to have a lot of thought. Why do your thoughts come out in words? Why do you put forth effort to think on them and to even write them down? Paul says to meditate on truth and on pure things. I find in necessary to follow that teaching from Paul. Jesus says that if we keep his words then the spirit will teach us, I find it necessary to mediate on the commands of Christ as well. As paul teaches us to mediate on truth, i think this is also what Christ means by keeping his words. It means to put them in heart and mind, to do them and think about them. The holy spirit reminds us about those things as well. David often spoke of meditating on Gods law, and on creation itself too.
... and I'm holding back ... I can't really write down but a small snippet of what I see as I am lead ever deeper into the kingdom, and the cohesiveness of this one truth that God is, which I find to be just a word that tries (in one form) to define the purpose of God which is himself in me (as Paul had said, who is in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure, by walking in us, or walking with him (two can't walk together unless they first agree), which is alluding to the scripture of the voice of the Lord walking in the garden (which is a picture of our soul) in the cool/spirit of the day/light/Christ.
I write because I want those to know that the mind of Christ that they possess is a truth that is ever opening in one just as the kingdom (which again is just a word that shows a facet of the same one truth that God is in relationship to us as a son (as it is God all in all, and as it is Christ all in all) the kingdom not being a separate truth to God no more than knowledge being separate from self, and therefore not of gain, or labor of thought.
I have found the place of no thought yields thought without measure, which Einstein alluded to when he said The intellect has little to do on the road to discovery. There comes a leap in consciousness, call it Intuition or what you will, the solution comes to you and you don't know how or why.
When we keep his words/abide in his words/ we enter into his words, which become defined by the one Word that is God which we begin by this washing to see where we are in relationship to our Father and the son that we are.
To develop a relationship with God costs you your soul, your thoughts, your will, your reasoning, your emotions. Most are satisfied with hearing Moses, and if this is where you are at in the journey in, then this is where your are at (we can only see what he allows us to see), or in the same breath many what to build God a house so remain outside of the truth that they are, glimpsing it but never entering into it (let alone remaining, where in fact they are), which Jesus used the word viper and pit to try and define what this process leads to.
A cross and take no thought are the same truth, just as thou shalt not eat and the Passover as a feast one keeps within themselves are the same truth. To love without thought (or motive of gain) is for this to be sown in the one who sows it (Jesus' be ... attitudes). If we lose our soul we indeed find it, and the finding it becomes to us something that we have possessed or are from the beginning.
The natural shows us the spiritual and the spiritual shows us the natural. It all points to one thing, which is the reality that we do not see.
The woman (a Samaritan woman, and the picture of the duality of our soul) at the well had five husbands (natural senses) that gave her a sixth that was not her own ...her true husband (the 7th one) sat on the well, who would become the rest of our soul.
It goes without saying, that if we say we see our sin remains ...
