I think its good to switch role. If your the good guy all the time, wouldn't you want to switch to the other side. I mean, I get angry at games because the bad guy does something stupid.

I've been looking at this upcoming game for a while now. I have always found the idea of Angels and Demons fighting each other in a Strategy game really cool. But I find it very disturbing that man can thwart God in this game. Anyone else want to add to that?

The thing that annoys me the most about it...is just how sucky the whole thing sounds...Heaven vs Hell? YAWN...been there...done that about a billion times. How about a NEW story? Why does it have to take place on earth?? Don't we have enough games that take place on earth already.

Well, In Nomine was an interesting take on this. The whole of God's creation is a Symphony and the Symphony can be altered through Songs by angels or demons.

It's an RPG (pencil and paper stuff), and you roll 3 D6s. On all 1s, God intervenes, on all 6s, Satan intervenes.

You can play for either side or even defect and it incorporates a bit of other religions as well I think.
