I thought it would be fun to invite you guys to post pics of yourselves, when you were kids and/or maybe tell us something you miss from your childhood.

I've been thinking about when I was young quite a lots in the last few weeks. I remember what it felt like to be able to walk for miles and not be scared that some perv was going to grab me or that I was going to be beaten up for being out after dark or in the wrong part of town. It felt good to know that if I got into trouble or got hurt, that I had a safe place to go. My Nana's house.

My Sister and I. I think I must have been around 11, when this was taken. It sounds silly, But I still remember the feeling of the pavement under my feet and that the dog's hair felt kinda rough, yet can't remember the dogs name.

I'm the oldest...my sister,Jill, is 18 months younger. My friend refers to this pic as an "aryan nation propaganda photo",lol. I remember I hated having braids done. She would make them super tight so they would stay in all day. EEK! We wore that outfit to our school picnic...our colors were yellow and black. I still have that cowlick in the front of my hair...so I've always parted it on that side...no choice! We always dressed alike. Finally..when I was 12....I threw a fit about it at Easter and she said fine, last holiday you have to dress alike....notice my expression,lol.

My mom and I on my first Christmas. I was the biggest baby in my family for 13 years...I weighed 6 lb 14 oz. We are small people,lol. I ended up giving birth to the largest baby in my family...my son was 9 lbs. My mom didn't weigh over 100 lbs. until she was pregnant. After two back to back pregnancies...she went back down to 85 lbs and stayed there until menopause. Again....small stock.
