In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Tuesday, April 09, 2013, 7:01 a.m. – The Lord Jesus woke me with the song “Your Servant Witness” playing in my mind. Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening. I read Ezekiel 9 (NIV): http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Ezekiel%209&version=NIV

Then I heard him call out in a loud voice, “Bring near those who are appointed to execute judgment on the city, each with a weapon in his hand.” And I saw six men coming from the direction of the upper gate, which faces north, each with a deadly weapon in his hand. With them was a man clothed in linen who had a writing kit at his side. They came in and stood beside the bronze altar.

Now the glory of the God of Israel went up from above the cherubim, where it had been, and moved to the threshold of the temple. Then the Lord called to the man clothed in linen who had the writing kit at his side and said to him, “Go throughout the city of Jerusalem and put a mark on the foreheads of those who grieve and lament over all the detestable things that are done in it.”

As I listened, he said to the others, “Follow him through the city and kill, without showing pity or compassion. Slaughter the old men, the young men and women, the mothers and children, but do not touch anyone who has the mark. Begin at my sanctuary.” So they began with the old men who were in front of the temple.

Then he said to them, “Defile the temple and fill the courts with the slain. Go!” So they went out and began killing throughout the city. While they were killing and I was left alone, I fell facedown, crying out, “Alas, Sovereign Lord! Are you going to destroy the entire remnant of Israel in this outpouring of your wrath on Jerusalem?”

He answered me, “The sin of the people of Israel and Judah is exceedingly great; the land is full of bloodshed and the city is full of injustice. They say, ‘The Lord has forsaken the land; the Lord does not see.’ So I will not look on them with pity or spare them, but I will bring down on their own heads what they have done.”

Then the man in linen with the writing kit at his side brought back word, saying, “I have done as you commanded.”
Those Appointed

God was about to execute judgment on his rebellious people and their leaders – both religious and political leaders – because of their idolatry and spiritual adultery, because of all the “detestable things” they had done, because their sin was exceedingly great in God’s sight, because the land was full of bloodshed and the city full of injustice, i.e. because they were apparently murdering their own people and/or they were treating their own with injustice, and because they thought God did not see and so they ignored all of God’s warnings and his calls to repentance.

Ezekiel received a vision from the Lord concerning this judgment to come. In the vision an angel of the Lord took him on a tour of Jerusalem’s temple where God showed him, via the angel, all the detestable things that his people and their leaders were doing. Then the angel, or God himself, called out in a loud voice for those appointed to execute the judgment to come near and to get ready to do what they were appointed to do. Some believe these executioners were angels and others believe they were generals in Nebuchadnezzar’s army.

The Lord Jesus gave me a dream this morning which I believe favors the latter interpretation in these final days before the return of Jesus Christ. He gave me a picture of a soldier standing alone in the sand in a ready position, yet at ease (or parade rest), i.e. in “a modified position of attention,” and the second in a list of “four states of alert,” as though ready and just waiting for his next orders to resume the first state of alert (Def. source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_parade). The U.S./ISAF soldier looked like Adolf Hitler during the time of WWII, and there were obvious references in the dream to people being connected to particular banners/signs/posters of some kind, each containing a number. The Lord has shown me for the past several years that what is coming in these final days will be reminiscent of Hitler’s reign, only on a global scale, and much, much worse. And, followers of Jesus Christ will be the ones mainly targeted for extinction (see Rev. 12-14).

The Mark (or Seal)

Then God began to remove his glory and his protection from his temple, i.e. from his people who were steeped in sin and who refused to repent. But, before he executed the judgment, there was something he had to do first. He had an angel, or some type of heavenly servant of the Lord, or perhaps the Son of God himself (Jesus Christ) go throughout the city of Jerusalem and put a mark on the foreheads of those who “grieve and lament over the detestable things that are done in it.” This is reminiscent of Revelation 7:3 where an angel of the Lord called out in a loud voice to not execute judgment on the earth until “we” put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.

Perhaps this “angel” was also God the Son and the “we” is our triune God – Father, Son and Holy Spirit – who must put this seal of protection on the foreheads of his servants before the judgment could be executed, or perhaps the “we” was a reference to angels. Yet, this is also reminiscent of the Passover when God had his children put a mark on their doors with the blood of a lamb so that the death angel would pass over them and they would not be harmed. And, all are symbolic of the cross of Christ and his shed blood for our sins on a cross, the seal of the Holy Spirit upon the lives of true followers of Jesus Christ, and the mark being symbolic of our salvation guaranteeing our eternal inheritance with God.

The Playground

Back to the dream from this morning for a few minutes here, the dream began with a scene of a playground and a play gym. On the upper level of this play gym was a series of what looked like posters all around all the sides of the play gym. On these posters were pictures of some kind, but also numbers. The numbers 48 and 6 stood out to me. There were 3 young children playing on the play gym. The two oldest children seemed to know what to do with these numbers. The youngest child was too young to read. All 3 of these children were the offspring of the US/ISAF soldier standing on the sand alone in ready position.

I struggled to understand this part of the dream yesterday, so I put it aside. Then, this morning, after I posted my quiet time from today, and I was doing some internet searches on another topic, I ran across an article about Washington, D.C. I was glancing down through the article when this part jumped out at me:

In commemoration of the 190th anniversary of the birth of George Washington, 48 American flags representing the then 48 states of the Union, encircling the monument, were raised on February 22, 1922. http://www.theforbiddenknowledge.com/chapter3/

Then, I had a “Wow!” moment. I realized that the “playground” was representative of mainland U.S.A. and that the posters or banners were representative of the 48 mainland states of the U.S.A. and their flags. And, the “play gym” was representative of Washington, D.C. The U.S./ISAF soldier was thus a representative of “Father Washington.” His first offspring is representative of the 48 mainland states, his second offspring is representative of these “6 men appointed to execute judgment” on the US homeland, and his third offspring appears, perhaps, to represent U.S. citizens (the innocents), but specifically those who have been marked as those who “grieve and lament over the detestable things that are done” in the U.S. and in God’s sanctuary, the true church.

The picture, thus, that I am getting from this is that this “Luftwaffe” (see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luftwaffe), i.e. the “six men appointed to execute judgment” on mainland America and the 48 states come from the same “parent,” i.e. from Washington, D.C., as well as do the innocent citizens of the U.S. who are not party to this plot. In other words, when this happens, we must know that our own government betrayed us and turned against its own citizens. I believe the “Luftwaffe” is in position and is ready to move as soon as they are given the command, but that the Lord is showing me that he must first mark the foreheads of those who “grieve and lament over the detestable things that are done” in our nation and in the church in our nation. They represent Christ’s true servants who have his heart, and who long and pray and weep for revival to come in our nation. I don’t know what this means exactly other than he has a plan to protect us in some way from his wrath, though not necessarily to protect us from persecution and even martyrdom for our faith.

Your Servant Witness / An Original Work / March 13, 2012
Humbly I bow, Lord, before You,
Bringing my requests to You.
May I listen; hear You speaking.
May I follow You in truth.
Gently lead me in Your service.
Guide my steps and strengthen me.
Fill me with Your love and mercy.
May I live for Thee!
Let me be Your servant witness,
Telling others of Your grace.
May I always share the gospel
With those I meet face to face.
May I show the love of Jesus,
Caring for the needs of men;
Be Your servant witness always
For my Lord, Amen!
My desire to be like Jesus,
Living for Him ev’ry day.
May I obey all His teachings
Given me, so I’ll not stray.
Love You, Jesus, Lord, my master.
You are the King of my heart;
Follow You where’er You lead me;
Not from You depart!

Wow, this is amazing.
The other night i had a dream about judgement. I dreamt that i was at a native american conference and there was division there among them.

I was invited to play a game (or some kind of ritual). I was to clap my hands together twice and the other person was to clap two sticks together (but in an odd way, they would clap them parallel to each other, not in an "X"). I clapped twice, then the other person would clap twice, we did this several times.

I think another person asked me about it and I said "its hard to do the clapping".

I asked God about it and he told me that it meant judgement on America. I remembered Ezekiel was told to do the same thing (clap his hands for judgement against the nations). But i remembered the sticks didnt touch me, judgement wouldnt touch me or the ones that love the Lord.

Pray for us all!

"Division" "Native America" - possibly coincides with the 48 states in the mainland. Calling for judgment or even warning of it is a hard thing to do, yet the prophets of old give a very vivid picture of God's heart with his people. He was and is very loving, compassionate, kind, merciful, full of grace, etc. which is why he sends forth his messengers to warn the people time and time again and to call them to repentance, because he does not want to have to bring judgment against them, but if they refuse his words and they refuse to repent and in their stubborn hearts and wills they continue in their evil ways, then he must act like a loving dad and exercise some tough love discipline in order to bring his own back to where they need to be.

This is interesting....

My mom and I were talking about an angel that came to my great grandmother. The angel woke her up and told her to go get her bible! She was scared/and or thought she was dreaming. So she went back to sleep. The angel woke her again. She ignored the instruction. My grandfather was always upset that his mom ignored Gods message.

So for days I have prayed to God to tell me what he wanted to tell my great grandmother.

2 nights ago....I was deep asleep. Not dreaming at all! Suddenly these words started flowing into my mind! I could actually see them flowing in like a river!!! I started saying the words out loud! Something (I believe God) woke me up! As I started waking....I could hear the words. I was thinking....what am I saying?!?! It sounds like something from the bible!?!? I gasped!!!! It's the bible!!!! It's the message for my great grandmother?!?!?!

This was the strangest thing because I was speaking words with out control...because my mind was thinking other things and listening to what was coming out of my mouth?!?!?

Any way......I looked up what I heard....these to verses from Isaiah is what matches up!
Isaiah 42

5-9 God’s Message,
the God who created the cosmos, stretched out the skies,
laid out the earth and all that grows from it,
Who breathes life into earth’s people,
makes them alive with his own life:
“I am God. I have called you to live right and well.
I have taken responsibility for you, kept you safe.
I have set you among my people to bind them to me,
and provided you as a lighthouse to the nations,
To make a start at bringing people into the open, into light:
opening blind eyes,
releasing prisoners from dungeons,
emptying the dark prisons.
I am God. That’s my name.
I don’t franchise my glory,
don’t endorse the no-god idols.
Take note: The earlier predictions of judgment have been fulfilled.
I’m announcing the new salvation work.
Before it bursts on the scene,
I’m telling you all about it.”
10-16 Sing to God a brand-new song,
sing his praises all over the world!
Let the sea and its fish give a round of applause,
with all the far-flung islands joining in.
Let the desert and its camps raise a tune,
calling the Kedar nomads to join in.
Let the villagers in Sela round up a choir
and perform from the tops of the mountains.
Make God’s glory resound;
echo his praises from coast to coast.
God steps out like he means business.
You can see he’s primed for action.
He shouts, announcing his arrival;
he takes charge and his enemies fall into line:
“I’ve been quiet long enough.
I’ve held back, biting my tongue.
But now I’m letting loose, letting go,
like a woman who’s having a baby—
Stripping the hills bare,
withering the wildflowers,
Drying up the rivers,
turning lakes into mudflats.
But I’ll take the hand of those who don’t know the way,
who can’t see where they’re going.
I’ll be a personal guide to them,
directing them through unknown country.
I’ll be right there to show them what roads to take,
make sure they don’t fall into the ditch.
These are the things I’ll be doing for them—
sticking with them, not leaving them for a minute.”
17 But those who invested in the no-gods
are bankrupt—dead broke.
You’ve Seen a Lot, but Looked at Nothing

Isaiah 48

20 Get out of Babylon! Run from the Babylonians!
Shout the news. Broadcast it.
Let the world know, the whole world.
Tell them, “God redeemed his dear servant Jacob!”
21 They weren’t thirsty when he led them through the deserts.
He made water pour out of the rock;
he split the rock and the water gushed.
22 “There is no peace,” says God, “for the wicked.”

As I was re reading my post...I was thinking about how the words started flowing into my mind. White in the blackness. It looked like a river of words to me. I thought, "the imagery was so strong...I wonder if the bible says anything about words looking like a river?"

Oh my!!!!! It does!!!!!!! God is so incredible!!!!! Look what I found on biblegateway!!!!!

Proverbs 18:4
4 ·Spoken words [L The words of a person’s mouth] can be like deep water,
·but [or and] the fountain of wisdom is like a flowing stream.

For your prayerful consideration: Someone had a dream about famine coming to America. I have been getting a sense of some of this, too.

The Lord keeps putting this song in my mind:
Nothing Can Separate Us / An Original Work / March 28, 2013

Based off Romans 8:28-39

Nothing can separate us
From Christ’s love now within us:
Not trouble, hardship, nor famine,
Nor danger, nor sword.
No, in all of these things
We are more than conquerors!

For your sake we face hardship.
We are sheep to be slaughtered.
I am convinced that death,
Nor life, nor anything else
Will separate us from
The love of God now in Christ.

What, then, shall we say to this?
God for us: who against us?
He who did not spare His Son
But gave Him for us all –
How will He not, with Him,
Graciously give us all things?

Who brings a charge against us?
God justifies His chosen.
Who is He that condemns?
Christ Jesus; died, rose again.
He’s at the right hand of God,
Interceding for us.

Very Awesome, Glorify! :D
Thank you for sharing that!

What you say is true, Sue!
You know i had a revelation this morning...
Ive been hearing the words "Cyrus king of persia is coming" for weeks now in my head. I happened to go to Isaiah this morning and I saw this verse...
Isaiah 44:28

New American Standard Bible (NASB)

28 “It is I who says of Cyrus, ‘He is My shepherd!
And he will perform all My desire.’
And [a]he declares of Jerusalem, ‘She will be built,’
And of the temple, ‘[b]Your foundation will be laid.’”

Ive been trying to figure out who Cyrus was. He was the king of Babylon who ordered the temple to be rebuilt. Then i thought, "the temple"! The temple in Jarusalem will be rebuilt soon! Isnt it supposed to be rebuilt in Revelation?

Thank you for sharing all that you shared (all 3 posts). God is definitely speaking loudly and clearly. He puts verses, phrases, songs, etc. in my mind all the time, and then I go look them up and often it is a "wow!" moment. So, I identify.

I wanted to specifically comment on this last section of scripture you quoted here. This is repeated in Revelation 18:

“‘Come out of her, my people,’
so that you will not share in her sins,
so that you will not receive any of her plagues;
5 for her sins are piled up to heaven,
and God has remembered her crimes.
6 Give back to her as she has given;
pay her back double for what she has done.
Pour her a double portion from her own cup.
7 Give her as much torment and grief
as the glory and luxury she gave herself.
In her heart she boasts,
‘I sit enthroned as queen.
I am not a widow;
I will never mourn.’
8 Therefore in one day her plagues will overtake her:
death, mourning and famine.
She will be consumed by fire,
for mighty is the Lord God who judges her."

"Babylon" means different things to different people, but most agree that she has to do with the world system, though some see her as the adulterous and idolatrous church. God has been calling his people for some time to come out from underneath her worldly influence - to flee, so we don't share in her sins and thus in her punishment.

It is all a matter of interpretation, I believe. The "temple" of God is now within the hearts of believers in Jesus Christ, thus the "rebuilding" of the temple has to do with revival, which I believe will come with the coming judgments. Also, Jerusalem is no longer the physical city, which is now of Hagar, but she is the holy city of God, the true church. So, God will use a type of Cyrus as his divine instrument of judgment, I believe, on God's people, the rebellious and idolatrous church of today, and out of that will come revival - the rebuilding of the temple.

Yet, I can't say with any certainty that there will not be a rebuilding of a physical temple in Jerusalem, but if there is, it won't be of God, for God no longer dwells in buildings built by human hands, but he dwells in human hearts. He is our temple!

On another note, "Cyrus" made me think of this article I read: Another Voice (Rev. 18:4): Cyprus-Cypress? "Derivatives Bust" To Bring Bank Raids In USA? 4-9-13 'Cypress Stabbings' An As-Above-So-Below?

Sue....I watched the video you posted from the man having a dream about poison food and that Gods people will not die from the poison!!!! Praise God again because he's been showing me that also from this scripture....so I will post it again.

Mark 16:17
The Message (MSG)
17-18 “These are some of the signs that will accompany believers: They will throw out demons in my name, they will speak in new tongues, they will take snakes in their hands, they will drink poison and not be hurt, they will lay hands on the sick and make them well.”

I woke up today at 4 and just stumbled upon that (praise the Lord!). :D

Sue, you are quite right! We are the temple of God now. Its amazing to think, isnt it?

But i had heard that there will be another physical temple someday (because the Jews are going to re-instate the temple sacrifice i think?).

I believe there might be a new physical Temple. But I also understand the spiritual part.

Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe me, the hour is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. 22 You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews. 23 But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such as these to worship him. 24 God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.” 25 The woman said to him, “I know that Messiah is coming” (who is called Christ). “When he comes, he will proclaim all things to us.” 26 Jesus said to her, “I am he,[d] the one who is speaking to you.”
