Awwww.....talk about feeling real funky. I let my daughter go for her first sleep-over last night. She's only three, but she was going to stay with a bunch of her cousins, over at an aunt's house. *laughs* I almost couldn't let her out of the door. It's kind of funny, except that I was missing her before she even actually left the porch.
Because of our close living space, she sleeps in the same room with her father and me. So, I'm used to getting up at night and making sure that she is covered up. I'm used to her padding across the room and snuggling in bed with me before we go down for breakfast.
I'm such a mush head!
I was joking with my husband last night about how I don't know how I'm going to make it through her starting school. lol Don't you ever wish that they would just slow down a little bit? I'm not in this tremendous hurry for her to grow up or anything. Still, each day she grows a little more, learns a new word, does something smart, or makes me laugh by mimicing my body language and word useage.
