I will be attending an inter-denominational women's conference. I would appreciate prayers being lifted up on all of those who will be meeting and sharing about Jesus Christ.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm so envious you are going to a retreat like that. Have fun. Have you read Yada Yada Prayer Group? They met at a convention like that.

Heavenly Father, i pray for this woman's conference that is being held this weekend. Lord, i pray that you would be there in a powerful presence. Lord, that you would touch the lives of all that attend, and that they would be transformed by your Holy Spirit. Lord, i pray that you would burn a passion in all of these ladies hearts, that they may leave the conference with a desire to do your will in their lives no matter what. In Jesus' name, amen

The weekend was so awesome!!! God poured out His glory on all those who attended. His presence was so with us... we just basked and worshipped Him. I saw so many women set free and I was one of them! The speakers spoke so many words of conviction and enthused us to be more faithful in our witness!
