  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I just wanna Praise God for this week.

I just got back from Youth Congress at Crown College in Knoxville TN. It was AMAZING. Awesome preaching, awesome classes and awesome fellowship. I thought I was a good Christian going into this but man I learned so many new things I could be doing to be a better Christian.

One of the speakers was Dr. Mitch Campbell. He is a Medical Doctor. But man can that guy preach and he is also hilarious. I learned a lot just from the one message I heard from him.

Another speaker was John Bishop. He got really sick and forgot everything (talking, walking, eating, his name, his wife and so on) but now he is preaching. here is his story God Is So Good! - Biography

And my pastor pulled me aside one day during breakfast in the hotel lobby and asked me if I wanted to be a usher at my church =). I've been saved for a year but haven't been baptized. So next Wednesday I'm getting baptized and will become a usher at my church. I would never think he would ask me of all other people in my church. And sense I'm getting baptized my dad is going to be there which he hasn't been to church sense he was little and he really needs to start going again. One of my grandma's (I'm hopeing both will come). My mom which she always goes. I'm going to ask my cousin to come which I really hope he does because if he goes then my brother probably will and that will be amazing. He recently moved back in and one of the first things he said to me was don't even ask me to go to church. He said he doesn't agree with any of it. He is a big partier and all that (smokes, drinks and so on). So if I can get him to come 1 time to church hopefully I will be able to get him to come again and again and hopefully he will get saved.
