This seems silly but...

This really seems silly but I'm really distraught over my dog running away. I've only had her for about a month but she's been gone for about 24 hours now and I'm really getting worried and my wife is beside herself.

I've prayed and prayed about it. I have a head ache now that could kill a horse, I wish that there were someway that I could find her but a couple blocks from my house is the Olympic National park and once she gets in there, there's no telling what could happen for her.

Please pray for my dog's safe return and for my wife. She's really beating herself up over this. She thinks it's her fault because the dog got away from her.

Silly? Hardly!!! I know what it is to love a dog and grieve. I had two dogs who were very old and I rasied them from birth. They were cruelly and horribly murdered this summer. I know what it is to grieve over a dog.

I have prayed for you and your wife, and last night I dreamed of being re-united with a lost dog. Perhaps it was for you.

THank you everyone... it's been almost 48hours now and still no sign except for Gerry's possible epiphany.

Day 3 and still no sign of her.

I've made and passed out flyers, contacted radio stations, put a newspaper add in, filed a city and county report, contacted the ranger stations, filed classified adds in every lost dog website I can find (about 15) and searched the neighborhood numerous times.

Please keep on praying.

Don't forget to check with any animal shelters in your area, and maybe even vet clinics, they'll probably let you place posters in them.

Thanks we've done everything we can and I've done nothing but look for her for the last four days. I received a pretty good lead as to where she is yesterday. At least I know that she's in town and hasn't moved up into the National Park, which si a really good sign that she will eventually be found.

Day 5 and the lead didn't come through. At least I know that she was in town 30 hours ago.
