is that you in your avatar?
Ha, yeah, that's me. I liked how the light caught my sword so well.
where do you want to die?
Okay, this is corny, but in the midst of battle...so long as I'm fighting for something I believe in.
who is your favorite poster thus far on here??
lol. That's a trick question! I haven't been here long enough to have one.
what time in your life were you happiest? (it can be a moment or a time span.)
Hm, that's hard. My high school years in central Cali. Not because of school, because of my time in Cali. We were a little ways from the beach, and I've never seen anything in the world like the Pacific!
what informs your spiritual beliefs?
The Bible, of course. Then Josh McDowell, Summit Misitries, my father who majored in theology, various news sources, my non-Christian uncle...
I try to research my beliefs as much as possible. If something does not sound right, I research it. This has thus far strengthened my beliefs and faith in God.
do you have any role models?
My uncle (yes, the non-Christian one) who challenges and strengthens my faith, and I admire for his martial art abilities among other things. Joan d'Arc is the other one for obvious reasons.
what are your favorite books, movies, and bands? (and why?!")
Favorite book:
(well, it's a poem) Beowulf- It is such a classic story between good and evil. Plus, the history of how the poem was found is so cool!
or (as far as an actual book) _All Hallow's Eve_ by Charles Williams- he is such an amazing writer! The book makes you think!
movies: Lord of the Rings, The Princess Bride, and...way too many to list- I love the books by Tolkien and aside from a few little things, Jackson did a great job trying to transfer then to the big screen. The Princess Bride because no matter how many millions of times I watch it, I still laugh. There are many people who do not seem to like it...but that's their loss
bands: Pendragon's Get, DC Talk, Toby Mac, and Fairport Convention- I love Celtic! And Christian rock. You just can't get better than that as far as I am concerned.
Thank you for the questions!
