This lameo only has a gamecube! (Recommend)

[The Theory]

I only have a Gamecube... have had it since January. It was acquired from a friend who got a Wii and no longer needed it. I have a decent collection of games, half of which I'm not interested in because they came with the gamecube and aren't my speed. (Tony Hawk? WTH?)

So what are some games I absolutely must own? I don't care what it is rated, so long as it is fun. Particularly of interest are games which are hidden jems.. but whatever you have to recommend, I'm open to hearing.

Both Zelda games, Mario Sunshine, Metroid Prime 1 and 2, Super Smash Brothers, Resident Evil Zero, Viewtiful Joe, Sonic Adventure DX: Directors Cut, Sonic Adventure 2 Battle, Waverace: Blue Storm, probably many others.

My favorite game on the gamecube: James Bond - Agent Under Fire.

Now I don't remember how the single player is, but it is the greatest spiderman game I have ever played in multiplayer.

Wait, spiderman you say, in a james bond game? Yes. In multiplayer, you can use the grapple to hook onto anything. You can even kill with the grapple (best with one shot kill on). I have had countless lan parties where we end up just playing this game all night.

Lego Star Wars I and II! A must-own for anyone who likes Star Wars and/or Legos. It may seem like a kids game but it's great fun packed into it for everyone. And it's a budget game now!

Good GC games that I have played are Super Smash Bros, Monkey Ball (any of them), and the Mario Party ones. They are awesome for single player and even better for groups.

Resident Evil 4 is supposed to be amazing, but I never got around to buying a copy.

The Zelda Collectors Edition Disc is a MUST HAVE, but I don't think you can buy it anywhere except maybe eBay. I got it for free when I bought my GameCube.

Eternal Darkness is a pretty good game too. Really fun and challenging. I loved it.

And Animal Crossing is always a good time waster.

I've come across the Zelda Collectors Edition at my local GameStops and ebGames, but as with all used games, it takes a certain amount of look and perseverance to find them.

No kidding. Hence why I jumped at the chance to get it for free. I actually came out with a Gamecube, extra controller, Zelda disc, and 12 months of free game rentals for the same price as every other retailer.

I've always felt that Soul Calibur 2 lacked something on GameCube. I felt it was a much better game on PS2, and even better on XBOX.
