It is the only logical purpose for sex of any kind ---- propagation of the species. Anything else is a disfunction ---- no matter how much "fun" to those participating.
Homosexuality is about being attracted (physically, emotionally) to a member of the same sex... it's not that hard to understand.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (BP)--Even when he was deep in the sin of homosexuality, Michael Glatze knew it was wrong. And now Glatze, a former leader in the homosexual movement, is telling the story of his former life while exposing homosexuality for the empty, lustful lie it is.
"Homosexuality, delivered to young minds, is by its very nature pornographic," Glatze wrote in a column published by WorldNetDaily in July. "It destroys impressionable minds and confuses their developing sexuality; I did not realize this, however, until I was 30 years old."
Although Glatze's new religion of Mormonism denies essential elements of Christianity, his story of leaving homosexuality is nonetheless significant. The founding editor of Young Gay America magazine, Glatze declared himself "gay" at age 20, and two years later he launched an ambitious and successful career of recruiting other young men to embrace the homosexual lifestyle. A favorite interview source for major media outlets, Glatze was atop the ladder of something that was supposedly groundbreaking and invigorating. But he knew something wasn't right.

That's what you believe. Spiffy. That's not what I or most thinking people believe. We believe it's a biological function that happens without the interference of magic beings. So how exactly does your deity cause a woman to become pregnant or not? Nevermind, you don't know. It's magic. Absolutely indistinguishable from a simple biologic function. Either the sperm meets the egg and it implants or it doesn't. But don't let that stop you from believing there are gods in your woman's womb. One MUST either accept that there is a GOD whom believers SHOULD trust and disbelievers ARE ignoring, OR that there is no GOD. All this nonsense, surrounding various imaginings of various gods and goddesses who really could care less about what one does sexually is simply just an excuse to engage in anything that pleasures those involved. Married faithful samesex couples are the most invisible people on the planet to these guys. My dear friends do not even exist as far as these prurient "gaysexislust!" ranters are concerned. Thankfully, my friends live in Canada, where homophobia is as frowned on (even if they personally think the physical part is 'icky') by the mainstream public as racism.
I hold fornicators and adulterers in the very same regard as I do the homomsexual who gives up. Everyone has issues and crosses to bear. Everyone makes mistakes. Mistakes are not corrected by simply ignoring them or calling them right.

One word: bonobos. (As in: matriarchal apes who touch, couple and genital-rub all day long without any procreative purpose.)
Granted, men are not bonobos, and our development clearly took a different turn at some point, but the argument that sex is solely for the purpose of siring offspring is nullified by this furry little jungle-dweller, several dozen times a day.
