Why does Chicago get all of the attention and not majority-white cities like Albuquerque, Indianapolis, Anchorage, Nashville, or Minneapolis?

I'm not twisting anything. You called them barbarians. You didn't say a minority of them are barbarians. You said it, own it.


You just can't help but show that racist element, can you. I heard this same BS, over and over, when I worked right smack dab in the middle of poor predominant black communities. The vast majority of the people I was surrounded by were good hard working family centered, friendly members of their community.

Yes, there were some bad people and there were killings but that doesn't take away from thousands of good people. I was never disrespected in the 20+ years that I worked amongst them.

That's right, the people killing and robbing people are barbarians. Sorry this upsets you.

It's not racist to point out what's taking place in the black communities in many of the major cities across the USA.

What's racists is ignoring it and pulling the race card whenever someone points it out.

Heck, we can't be critical of anyone who is black without being called racist.

Even people who criticized Cam Newton's lousy performance last year with the Patriots, have been called racist.

Meanwhile, black leaders don't say much about Lebron James threat to the cop who saved the life of the black girl.

I agree with you . But we have to choose our battles. There are many here who are already persuaded in their own minds as to what's wrong and what's right and I don't think anything you or anyone else says to them will change their minds. From what I understand, there are many things taking place in our society that must come to pass in order for Jesus to return. No amount of debate will stop the things to come.

I feel my point was made shortly after my initial post and now all I see this turning into is an endless debate that I don't wish to be apart of. The content of the video I posted originally has hardly been addressed in anyone's posts, and people are just going off their own political tangents instead of staying on topic. This thread has turned toxic with all it's slander and it puts down my spirit watching it unfold. I'll take slander any day, even from my own brethren, if it's for Jesus's sake. But not for meaningless identity politics that have no power to save anyone. I'm sure there's plenty of other threads on here with a similar topic. You guys can go take the fight there if you'd like.

I agree with you . But we have to choose our battles. There are many here who are already persuaded in their own minds as to what's wrong and what's right and I don't think anything you or anyone else says to them will change their minds. From what I understand, there are many things taking place in our society that must come to pass in order for Jesus to return. No amount of debate will stop the things to come.

I feel my point was made shortly after my initial post and now all I see this turning into is an endless debate that I don't wish to be apart of. The content of the video I posted originally has hardly been addressed in anyone's posts, and people are just going off their own political tangents instead of staying on topic. This thread has turned toxic with all it's slander and it puts down my spirit watching it unfold. I'll take slander any day, even from my own brethren, if it's for Jesus's sake. But not for meaningless identity politics that have no power to save anyone. I'm sure there's plenty of other threads on here with a similar topic. It's not identity politics, but the reality taking place in our cities.

Calling people who are killing and robbing barbarians doesn't upset me, if you apply that to whites, cops, Asians, etc.. . You haven't tried to distinguish between the majority of people in these groups and the small percentage who rob and kill.

Ugly themes and behavior have been associated with rap music for decades. This is nothing new. What happened is that you parroted a bunch of propaganda that, whether you know it or not, has a bunch of racist and political baggage attached to it. You kicked a hornets nest and are now trying to blame others for it, accusing them of being “already persuaded “ when in reality, you’re just as guilty of having your mind made up as they are.

My first response to you was perfectly reasonable and free of sarcasm. You ignored it.

If you want me to put a finer point on it, I think you’re happy to paint “black culture “ with a broad brush, informed by the latest asinine right-wing fearmongering flavor-of-the-month (i.e. blm & cultural marxism) and a complete ignorance of how black ghettos were created in the first place.

Since you didn’t answer my earlier question about the development of black ghettos, I’ll answer it for you: black ghettos exist because white people in power created them. Black urban ghettos in the US are an invention of white society; they are a direct result of decades of racist policies enacted by white people intended to segregate and subjugate blacks who moved out of the rural south (which already had its own set of racist laws and policies). Crime and a host of other dysfunctions grew directly out of those generations of abuse and enforced poverty. If you don’t like what you see in black ghettos, blame the generations of your parents, grandparents, and great grandparents for denying them opportunities to go to work, to go to school, to vote, to hold office, and to participate in the rest of society.

I suppose my black husband who shares the same exact opinion as me has also given into a bunch of racist propaganda right? Because he doesn't have a working mind of his own and has to agree with people like you in order to fight off all the big bad racists of America? To jump on the victimhood bandwagon and hate America for it's past?

I showed him the video I posted here and he says there is no excuse for the behavior within that video. And as expected, he was disgusted by it. Why? Because he's a Godly man first and his identity doesn't rest in his skin complexion or in his culture. He knows his culture better then most here, who I'm assuming is not even black. And he can openly state the things that are wrong within his own culture because he can discern evil when he sees it.
