In the last week before the election, ABCNEWS is holding a videotaped message from a purported al Qaeda terrorist warning of a new attack on America, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.

The terrorist claims on tape the next attack will dwarf 9/11. "The streets will run with blood," and "America will mourn in silence" because they will be unable to count the number of the dead. Further claims: America has brought this on itself for electing George Bush who has made war on Islam by destroying the Taliban and making war on Al Qaeda.

ABCNEWS strongly denies holding the tape back from broadcast over political concerns during the last days of the election.

The CIA is analyzing the tape, a top federal source tells the DRUDGE REPORT.

ABCNEWS obtained the tape from a source in Waziristan, Pakistan over the weekend, sources tells DRUDGE.

"We have been working 24 hours a day trying to authenticate [the tape]," a senior ABCNEWS source said Wednesday morning, dismissing a claim that ABC was planning to air portions of the video during Monday's WORLD NEWS TONIGHT.

The terrorist's face is concealed by a headdress, and he speaks in an American accent, making it difficult to identify the individual.

US intelligence officials believe the man on tape may be Adam Gadhan - aka Adam Pearlman, a California native who was highlighted by the FBI in May as an individual most likely to be involved in or have knowledge of the next al Qaeda attacks.

According to the FBI, Gadahn, 25, attended al-Qaida training camps and served as an al-Qaida translator.

The disturbing tape runs an hour -- the man simply identifies himself as 'Assam the American.'

They polled thousands of Muslim's in 8 countries and found that a majority supported the use of terrorism to further the cause of Islam. Shocking! Kind of blows a hole in the theory that must Muslims are against what's going on. It also makes it easy to see why Muslims in no great numbers condemn terrorism. Perhaps they, too, are afraid (like Saudia Arabia) or then again, they don't have a problem with it.

Thank you dear. I always learn so much from your participation here. You also make a great point about submission: it's what Islam means, not "peace" as has been incorrectly stated by Pres. Bush and others. What should concern every Christian of good will is, Islam is becoming a dominant force in France and England and Germany was the stomping ground of many of the 9/11 terrorists. Let me say something here...I think it would be safe for us not to jump to conclusions about this video until the FBI authenticates it or whatever they do. If this is coming from the "LIBERAL" media I find it hard to believe. Remember, the media has an agenda and will do anything to get that agenda done. Also, remember the liberals do not understand that who we are fighting is detrimental to our survival. They attacked us, not us attacking them. So, if the liberals don't believe this war on terror is good then so does the media who is pushing that agenda. It is all being used as a scare tactic to get Kerry into office by scaring people into believing what they say is the truth. Being so close to election this is the only reason why I see them airing this video. Remember, Kerry says this war on terror is a "nusiance" and should be faught on a police level to bring it back to pre 9/11 where it is just like fighting hookers.

Give me a break, that pre 9/11 mentality is what got us into this position in the first place. And if we go back to that we are done. It is not Bush's fault like the video claims. It is not one administration's fault (although I will say Clinton did nothing to stop this). Both republicans and democrats starting back in the early 80's with the Iran hostage situation to present day did nothing to stop all of the attacks on US Embassies, first WTC, etc... What did all of them do, nothing. Bush is the first President to take action against an enemy that has been waging war on us for over 20 years. So by blaming Bush is an outright lie. The terrorist cannot operate like they used to under ahem Clinton and company. The liberals don't see this because they are on the terrorists side. Yes, I believe you are correct. I have been discussing Islam and terrorism with one of my dormmates, who studied Islam as his religious studies emphasis at San Francisco University. What you have stated couldn't be more true. He is convinced that the only way to do deal with this issue is to go on the offensive, if we don't, they will.

People need to wake up to the threat that we are under. It wouldn't surprise me if in 50 years we go to Europe and all of our beautiful churches are gone, that is if it is safe to go there.

People forget the history of the Islamic world. They proselytize by conquering and saying convert or die. Our Eastern brothers and sisters understand this, the West needs to wake up and understand it.
