  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

How do you know the unborn child doesn't suffer physical pain with an abortion...and what about the emotional and psychological pain/trauma a woman experiences as a result of having ended the life of their own child?

The physical pain of the fetus is solved with an injection that many clinics now offer. It's a woman's choice to end her pregnancy, no one forces her to. She should be prepared to deal with the conseqences.

Exactly. The physical pain of the fetus is not even an issue because they can anesthetize it. Also, it is most definitely a woman's choice to end her pregnancy and no one can force her to do that. And yes, she should be prepared to deal with any consequences of ending her pregnancy.

Is this a post-viability or third trimester baby? If so, it doesn't surprise me that it looks so human. And yes, it is adorable. It would be sad if it were aborted. However, I do believe that a person should be free to get an abortion and abort that fetus if it is before the stage of viability or before the third trimester.

That's because it IS!-lol

What did you think 'it' was? ^_^

I knew it was a human. I never said it wasn't a human. However, depending on what stage of pregnancy it is in, it may or may not be a person with a soul. I don't believe that a human gets its soul until sometime around the viability stage.

I do not concur. And Scripture, I believe, is plain on this fact, as is the Witness of the Holy Spirit. A person is a person is a person, a human being is a human being.

Hi Zeena. I tried to send you a PM but your inbox is full. Could you please clear it out so I can send you a PM. I was just wanting to apologize to you for being rude to you in a PM earlier. Please forgive me.

That said, do you also believe that a zygote is a person?

Yes, it has human DNA. So I take it that you believe it is wrong to abort a zygote right? If that's the case, then you must be against just about all hormonal forms of birth control which have the potential to abort a zygote. Am I right?

Yes, it has human DNA.
A person is complete when he has all the DNA he will ever have. He simply grows into what he is already created to be.. A human being.

Colossians 2:10
And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

1 Peter 2:2-5
As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious. To whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

So I take it that you believe it is wrong to abort a zygote right? If that's the case, then you must be against just about all hormonal forms of birth control which have the potential to abort a zygote. Am I right?
No. I do not believe that we, as a society, have the right to impose our personal judgments on others when it comes to birth control methods. Each man must be fully convinced in his own mind by reasoning with God, family, friends, and self. Studying all methods known, and determining which is best for him/her, based on the facts and the personal Witness of the Holy Spirit, once one is of age to determine right from wrong.

To EnemyPartII,
the question was why dont humans at foetus stage have human rights?
The OP says;
I am Pro-Life and this is why: (this is a picture of my friends baby in 4D. What a smile!!)
You can't tell me this isn't human.

So I am wondering who has ever tried to tell the OPer (or anyone else, for that matter) that its not human?
