Umm, People are dying with Covid19, yes, but a lot more of the People who died had underlying health-problems too. Regular Flu-
Season also kills people every single year! Also, the use of the respirators Is what killed some, if not all of those hospitalised over this and did not recover.
The Halloween Covid-Mask... Well, that's no surprise! There are some very, very Sinister people out there, and they don't mind capitalising on others' misery. (5 years' back I bought something to eat, that was Halloween-related, and it had a sharp piece of metal inside it. I was fortunate enough to have detected it in time. It could easily have killed me by either choking or causing me to bleed internally after swallowing the foodstuff.I could have also pursued the matter through the Courts, but, chose not to).

It's not the same thing. Dressing up as a horror (fictional) character and dressing up as what could be a deadly disease are two entirely different things.

I agree its in poor taste. However, the Coronavirus Comic was created years before the virus hit. There’s a character on the market but some may opt for a different spin.

Since the costumes are meant to acts as a disguise so the faeries don't see or recognise the wearer, perhaps their use of a disease costume is well-meaning..

I mean, the entire celebration is 100% pagan so perhaps the outrage concerning it ought to start there, instead of over a single costume...

But go, be invisible to the faeries (Aos Si) on the one night a year the veil between this world and the next can be crossed... lol... but don't expect Christians to much care about what people do in it, that manages to bother you.
