  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I need prayer. My husband needs prayer. Our marriage needs prayer. Our daughter needs prayer. Our family needs prayer.

It is so hard living the way we live. It is so hard being married but not united. We have a certificate but no relationship or friendship. Up until this week there was no income. We survive off of my inlaw's credit card. We no longer have any hope of even living outside of his parent's home. Still, after four years of living here, there are still no floors or doors.

This is so hard.

I guess I'm having my three month breakdown. I can go about three months before falling apart. Today he announced he will never step foot in church again and I feel like my heart shattered.

We met and married in church, dedicated our daughter in church, and both held ministries in church.

I don't like anything about my life except maybe the last three days have been fun. Maybe things will change for the better soon.

Guess I just need to cry and know that people are praying.

Just go ahead and cry - tears are cleansing.

I can imagine what living with someone else would be like - Off and on I had my mother-in-law and my parents - it was difficult - the mother-in-law lived with us for 11 years - WOW - won't even go into that - at one time I was in the driveway pounding on the trunk of the car saying "God you promised you wouldn't give us more than we could take - you promised" - my husband was watching and said "don't talk to God like that"

We have to let our dispair out in some way.

Feeling alone and no one to turn to will cause the dispair of hopelessness.I don't have any advice fo ryou - but know that you are on my heart and I am praying for you.

I don't know what your situation is or if you are able - but if you can - check with the Human Resources people and see about going to other peoples home and sitting with people who need help - this would get you out of the house and some extra money and you could work when you want to - just a thought - I did that for awhile - 4 hours a day and made over $400.00 a month.

The main thing right now is to get you out and about so you won't feel like you are sinking in hopelessness.

Psalms 34:19- Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.

James 1:2-4 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

Hey buzymom:wave: Im sorry to hear about your situation, I've never been in a situation like that so I can't quite advise you or understand completely where you're coming from. However, I do know that God is faithful in His Word, and His promises. Those two passages really encourage me when i'm going thru a rough season, and I pray that it would encourage you also. Just keep being faithful to Him, and remember that "All things work together for good to them that love God" - Rom. 8:28

God bless my sister, will keep you in prayer

I don't know you but want you to know that I am praying for you. In Jesus name, I speak healing to your marriage and your finances. May the Lord bless you with abundance. May your husband experience spiritual healing in Jesus name. I have not been where you are right now but I can relate to parts of it. Please look to the Lord for He is your strength. Blessings and love in Christ.

You sure have more patience with your situation than I would. I told myself, after reading about the way you're living, that I would have already fled from it.

As a boy, I lived in deep poverty. We lived for seven years in a basement without toilet facilities, no indoor walls, and no privacy. It was a hard life.

Whatever you decide to do, realize there are better times ahead.

Yeah, I do have patience...usually...I want to get my daughter out of here but some change did happen since posting this...

MIL is allowing us to move some of her stuff out of the house...We've been a war over these large (useless) items for 4yrs now..She's going to help us with cost of remodeling...So maybe some change is on the way...I don't need anything fancy but warmth is a good thing...I think...I don't really remember warmth too well but I hear its nice...As is, we are freezing year round..

I'm hoping to make some major changes before Winter...

Us living here is a big help for the inlaws...Its costly, I know we are, but we try to do all we can to help out..FIL was in the hospital for months and now he's home..We try to help out with him and MIL just had surgery..We try to keep the yard up and do repairs around the house...stuff like that..

My husband got real upset earlier today and I told him that maybe this is an opportunity for us. We can both grow our businesses from the ground up while being on call for his parents.

Just trying to make sense of it all..

Busymom, Say, feel, believe and LIVE this prayer, and I promise you that you will see incredible improvement in your life.

Most Heavenly Father, I commit from this day forward to give you my entire being, 100% mind, body and soul.

Today I make you number one in my life over everything else. My desire is to put your needs above mine, so please refresh my spirit so that I may hear your spiritual voice.

I rebuke my flesh and desire to only hear the Holy Spirit.

I make it my purpose in life to be a blessing to you at all times. Please lead me and change me so that I can become one-in spirit with you. I understand that when I become one-in-spirit with you, I will take on your character, becoming like you.

That is my hearts desire, to be filled with love, kindness, mercy, goodness, patience, tolerance, understanding and joy.

I offer myself as your loving child today, and ask you to be my loving father.

I place myself, my very life, in your hands with complete trust, knowing that you are all I can depend on, and the only way I can survive.

Lord, I have complete faith in your desire and ability to meet my every need.

To sum up this prayer of redemption sweet Lord, I offer you my complete true, unrestricted LOVE.

Thank You for accepting me as your loving child today.

I pray this in the Name of Jesus, to You, The Father, AMEN!

Hello there,

I am from Durban South Africa,

I am not fully aware of our full situation but I strongly feel in my spirit that I need to ecourage you with the following scripture: Joshua 1v5 No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave or forsake you.
Joshua 1v9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage: do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you forever you go.

I strongly feel you need to start speaking life into your situation at home, Proverbs 18v21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue and those who love it will eat its fruit.
Speak life, and your will eat the fruit of it, remember where ever you put your foot God has given it to you through the authority that Jesus have given you. Start claiming the victory in Jesus name.

Trample the enemy under your foot, he has come and robbed from you and your family, he has robbed your marriage, he has no right to do that, Keep speaking life and the Lord will replace everything back that the enemy has robbed from you.

Amen.

I like this, a positive affirmation ... I need this too.

It's like using a planer, you know one of those carpenter tools that just takes the film off of you long enough for the truth to get a good start for the day.
