I would have to agree with Collin Rugg on the 210 members of congress who voted to deny medical care to victims of abortion who survive.
While I agree that medically unnecessary abortion and abandoning abortion survivors are murder, I don't see how our federal congress has any say in either since abortion laws now vary state by state...

(edit: Oh, I see. For states where such abortions remain legal...)

All the more reason to look forward to Judgment Day. Honestly, I can't wait to watch these monsters burn. I mean, if they repent, great, but if they don't, their screams from the depths of Hell will be music to my ears.
The Scripture says that one day Jesus will come with flaming fire to execute judgment on those who refuse the Gospel. The frightening thing for the abortionists who allow babies to suffer and die will be just before they are thrown into the lake of fire, they will be confronted with the very babies they allowed to die, as now adults standing with Christ. Then they will suffer the wrath of God for the rest of eternity.

Surely this the wrong spirit and is contrary to the character of God? “I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked…”; “Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written, ‘Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord” (Ezekiel 33:11; Romans 12:19).

Whether before or after judgement and punishment, God’s indignation and vengeance are without pleasure or enjoyment. Our attitude must be the same. Those who die as “children of wrath”, who are deserving of His fiery justice, are those for whom Christ suffered and died. God’s need for justice will be satisfied against the lost, but He won’t revel in it.

We are saved from the wrath to come because He chose us out of the world to humbly serve Him. Without His grace (undeserved favour) we too would be guilty and equally lost.

Taking pleasure in the lost’s condemnation and everlasting punishment does not honour Christ. In this life we know we that in our heart we shouldn’t want to repay evil with evil. Instead we are to seek after what is good for others.

So, no matter how emotive and deplorable the topic, our response to those who die without Christ should be humble regret and not some kind of carnal triumphalism. Never take pleasure in it. Don't exult.

I'm comforted in knowing God will have the final say. No murderer or injustice will go unnoticed. All will be held accountable.
