CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

/me isn't sure what car of theirs he likes bset - the [former] cop car (chevy caprice, formerly a sheriff's car, corvette engine....) is extremely ... fun to drive.... it .. accelerates.... it moves.

/me has been driving the "cop car" ... it likes to go 90 or so, but paulewog never has yet
/me says it accelerates very quickly, it's hadr to stop at 45
/me has gottne one ticket. :o and that day was awful - his best friend and family had been visting and they had just left the night before.... so paulewog was already extremely upset, and then eh got a ticket on top of it
/me says it's all done though, traffic school, no point, no nothing.
/me wonders why the cop didnt' give him a warning, hehe

/me thought he was gonna get pulled over yesterday on the way to church, the cop was behind him on some back roads, but he was just going somewhere, not following paulewog. *whew*
