CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

/me is addicted to Freecell. Thats right, basic microsoft windows freecell. You know how you can "select game" well i''m going thru them all in order trying to beat them all... how pathetic is that?
it gets even worse... i'm only playing freecell cuz it got too hard to beat my best Soltaire time (86 seconds) and my minesweeper times are really fast too, i keep tying with myself. and hearts gets boring. so basically i really need more interesting games... oh wait i have those, i just prefer these stupid ones!

I've played Solitaire like 3 times in my whole life. I'm terribly at pretty much all of them. You could always play spider solitaire!

i don't have XP, i'm runing win98... and you can't copy Spider Solitaire off of XP and install it on 98; i've tried... but i do love spider solitaire!

/me doesn't like XP as much as win2k actually.
/me would rather use Linux but there are too many windows-only programs, and windows emulators just don't work great.

ah. start with just one suit, its easier that way
/me was at the library yesterday and got a Tom Clancy book: The Hunt fot the Red October. she was going to get an eddings book but the school library is horribly understocked and only had one, King of the Msomethings... and it was book 2 in a series, so she didn't get it. She will look more at her library at home next week.

i don't think my campus library can do that... i have done that from home tho, when i went to the public library! but more often i just go and scan the shelves, waiting for something to catch my eye (and end up going home with like 40ish books!)

/me can reads very quickly, if he wants to, but he doesn't like it that much, it's not an enjoyable way toread the book (well, speed-reading type of speediness, hehe).
/me generally reads a book in a day, if he actually reads during the daytime and not for 20 minutes befoer bed at night, hehe

/me only makes a concious effort the read quickly when she's reading something she doesn't want to read while she'd rather be doing something else
