Third day doctrine???

My brother attends a non-denom pentecostal church and he was telling me that his previous pastor and current pastor are big on this doctrine. Me being AOG I have never heard of it and I wasn't able to find, much to my surprise, anything on wikipeia. He has a bad feeling about it and I want to know if he should have red flags about it. Is there anyone here that could give me some information about it...like I said I have never heard of it until recently.

Even if one of us KNOWS what it is, each Church (especially a non-Denominational Church) has its own spin on it.

So, instead of worrying about it, find more about it.
Then, you will know if it makes sense to you, and you can decide how you feel about it. Then you can tell us, and ask us for our opinion on it.

Third day? I don't think there's any doctrine concerning other then the belief Jesus rose on the third day.

Maybe he meant the Latter rain movement?

Thanks for the replies. I should have clarified earlier that it's not something disputing Jesus raising on the third day. I do plan on going to his church soon...they are supposed to have a special speaker who is big on this view so I might get some more insight. I was just hoping someone here would be familiar with it so I could kind of know what to expect.

Isn't Toronto churches and new wine churches and vineyard churches in the third day movement? I had been told that before but that may not be correct

I dont think they are all alike either.

Maybe those are third wave, and are not the same. I don't know. I think alot are prophetic churches.

But to really know the truth about any church, you have to go their legitimate official websites and churches, not just the internet because they will say all kinds of false things about everyone, including YOUR church, whatever it is.

I have a little understanding but fall short on a full understanding I hope this help. There are three court in the tabernacle 1. the outter court day 1 ( washing) 2. the innercourt day 2 (sacifice)3. the hollies place day 3. (priesthood) It falles in line with the freast. Attonement 1 Pentecost 2 and Tabernacle or trumpets 3. I believe they believe we are entering the 3 day. Or the going into the holly of hollies.

those I have heard of teach the 5 fold ministry is for today, and alot of Spirit filled churches don't.
