• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

There's something wrong with me, don't know what. It doesn't matter how much/little sleep, food, water I get all this is just the same.

I'm starting to think it's neurological, but not sure what.

Dizziness, fatigue, stiff muscles, sudden numbness/weakness on one side of my body. The dizziness comes first and then everything else, and after I feel really weak and tired, and sometimes in pain.

any thoughts, comments, concerns?

blood sugar level is normal, blood pressure is fine, no thyroid problems, everything seems to be fine except for this... I know because I was at the doctors a month ago, and had a bunch of blood tests done, and I was getting dizzy and really tired then but my doctor said he can't do anything to help that unless more symptoms came up.

Did he mention a MRI of the brain? I would demand it.

This sounds a LOT like what I've been going through. Have you found anything out? Depression never really crossed my mind. Between the headaches and the dizziness, I kind of forget that I'm crushingly depressed. I've never been diagnosed, but it's true, I don't know the difference between what I consider depression and clinical depression, but I'm definitely down. Especially after these symptoms.

eating fish might help. massage and steam bath, and stretching might help. but they might injure as well. I've said this elsewhere. reduce exposures to 'toxins' might help. reduce fat in the diet, or don't eat fat. greesy foods and such. foods that cause the blood to congest, stay away from. don't eat sugar. no alcohol. no coffee. no perfumes. detergents and soaps are not good for the blood and nervous system. gasoline and gas fumes are also not good for blood and nervous system. patience, and allow time for reactions between treatments. hope.

Structural, electrical or biochemical abnormalities in the brain or in the nerves leading to them can cause paralysis, muscle weakness, seizures, confusion and poor coordination. May you have this problem but I think you have lack of self confidence so first you should cure it than after try to concern a good neurologist. Try to get enough sleep and meal full of nutrition.
