  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

What are you up to this weekend?

Friday: ate out to dinner with my husband and his parents. Woot.
Saturday: foster parent fun activity (going to a science center) in the morning/early afternoon and then dinner with my "bestie" to celebrate her birthday. It's today, but she's out of town.
Sunday: church and baby shower shopping with the sister. :)

Have you ever run right into a tree?

No, I can't say that I have. :p

What's your favorite animal?

Are you a dog or cat person?

My favorite animal...well, actually it's more of a bird. I love flamingos.

I'm a both person. I love the playfulness and protection of a dog and the intelligence and attitude of a cat. :)

Do you do a lot of sports? What's your favorite?
Do you have any pets now?
What are you doing most of your weekends?

No. I don't actually like sports. About the only athletic things I do are walking on the treadmill and weight lifting (both to get into shape). When I am thinner, I may try some sports again. In school I ran track, so maybe I'll take up running again if I get my asthma under control.

I have four fish; Bono, Steve, Austin, and one who has no name. I had a white goldfish with bubble eyes named Dolly but she died a couple of weeks ago.

Most of my weekends are spent just hanging out at the house with Dustin and church on [most] Sundays.

Is the caption under your name from the song with those same words in it? "Our God is faithful" What caused you to choose this particular caption?

I don't think I realized there was a song. lol. It used to say "hopin', wishin', prayin'" in regards to finding the perfect mate for me. Our God is faithful is a testament that He still moves, and is faithful to finish the works He has started.

Also, it's a great reminder for when I doubt.

What prompted people to give you the nickname Tink?

It started as Pixie, then morphed to Tinkerbell and finally to Tink.

If you could meet any historical figure (living or dead) who would you want to meet?

That is a good question. I think maybe...Paul from the Bible. Or even Pilate.

Yeah.

What draws you to Paul or Pilate?

Paul so I could ask him all the questions I have about the gospels that he wrote and Pilate so that I could discuss with him what it felt like when he turned Jesus over.

Imagine you had teleportation skills. What five international destinations would you teleport to?

Sydney, Australia
Dublin, Ireland
Rome, Italy
Paris, France
India

Very nice! I've been to Dublin and Paris, both wonderful cities. Would love to visit Australia as well.

What's the fanciest thing you can cook?

Maybe homemade shrimp alfredo.

I don't cook much. I'm more of a baker.
