I could use one right now. I'm ready to go camping.Booked my vacation last week. Received my tickets a couple of days ago. We are going to be so ready come the end of May.
My son and I picked up a camper in LA 3 years ago and when we came down from Barstow into San Bernadino valley there was this purple haze over the whole valley. I couldn't hold my breath for the 3 hours I was there so we got the camper and escaped north on 101 a fast as we could. Wish there had been a Santa Anna wind that day.I keep trying to escape California, but it always comes to naught. Now... well, the Lord knows what he's doing.
Yes, there should be a lot of mosquitos there in Minnesota. Isn't Minesota called the land of a thousand lakes? Or is that Wisconsin? No... Wisconsin is Land O' Lakes, isn't it? Or is that just the butter...
I haven't been able to go somewhere on vacation for nearly thirty-five years. Then not even out of the So. Cal. area. The last seven months of unemployment have been the closest to a vacation I've had in many, many years.
What are the maximum? Is it pages or posts? 'course it's so many posts per page, I'm sure. So maybe 99 or 100 pages?
Hey, Seajoy, how about, "Think I'll sit down here for a bit, again..."
And I haven't even seen a robin here yet!I have a bird here that I've never heard before. It sounds like the sound of breaking glass or someone dropping a mallet on an Xylophone. Weird
Mornin'Morning sis. I'm not totally sure but I think robins are here all year round along with blue jays, cardinals, chippies and of course crows. We have vultures invading our area and it looks like they are chasing the crows away. Don't knows what's better but I sure don't like the crows. THe make a heck of a racket sometimes.
Hey, I might just do that!I'm not too far from Chicago, seajoy...shout out your window a hello for me... maybe I'll hear it with my extra sensitive hearing? LOL
My wonderful DH won $1,000 in travel through our wireless company. After checking into one idea and deciding we did not want to add that much to a vacation, we settled on central Florida. Will take the youngest with us (he graduates high school on mother's day). We will make Orlando our base. I have two cousins who I have not seen in years (about 50 actually) who have both moved back to central Florida where they were raised. We will see them as well as visit the space center. Hubby wants to go to Busch Gardens and I want to go Epcot. Any other touristy stuff will be decided on while there.
Hubby and I took our wedding trip there and son was there 3 years ago for NYG. (they went to Disney then)
So the three of us are flying to Orlando, renting a car and have our hotel reserved. Should be a good week and we are leaving after Memorial Day for a week.
They scare me to death!!!!! I thought I was going to meet my Maker when I went on Space Mountain (I think it's called that)...first and last time I ever went on one!We love rolly coasters!!!!
I forgot...I went on that one too...only a moment of scary, when you drop!Splash Mountain
I have a fear of heights so the falling sensation is good for me. I love it!!!!
We were forbidden from riding such things when I was a kid so I had my daughter on every single ride available at SeaWorld and SixFlags as soon as she reached the height requirement. Now we can ride EVERYTHING!!!!
My mother has threatened to have me declared unfit for risking her only link to the future.Silly woman.
