It's a good thing I'm not in the UK yet to start renovating the house. This is what the neighborhood looks like. Yikes!

It's a balmy 42 here in Texas, though.

It was bright and sunny here most of the day and I think it got up to the low 50's, and even warmer tommorow

but I expect thats the last we will see for a while

Well, I have me a busy weekend here. I need to get up at 4:30 a.m. to be into town by 5:30 a.m. Many of our District LWML are attending a retreat at Mission Central for the day. I get back and hope to enjoy the Nebraska/Oklahoma football game. On Sunday, we will be out as we need to go to a thank you dinner for the support that our church has given to our IOWAY teams. So, I guess you can say it is a Mission Weekend for me.

Also, don't forget to set your clocks back an hour Saturday night. I may stop in for a few minutes Saturday night, but it is doubtful. Have a great weekend everyone.

I was not the driver and we were caravaning too. Is that even a word? Had a great day and came home to settle in to what should have been a great game, but I think my team showed up with only their 4th string or something, I turned it off at half time. I also proceeded to end up with some sort of a stomach thing, so am laying low today. I am missing worship and celebrating All Saint's Day is always a nice service.

I missed Church today as well. Did NOT hear my alarm go off. *SIGH* I did, however "attend" church in my sleep. Dreamed that I was there and was trying to stain a bookshelf for one of our Elders but Hannah Montana kept getting in my way and then my Grandma was mad at me because I wasn't sitting in the Nave but in the Narthex trying to listen to the sermon (that was about 4 hours long!) and stain the bookshelf.

Yeah. My dreams are weird. *G* Oh yeah, Steve from Ghost Hunters was there because he heard that our Sanctuary was haunted (???) and for some reason we had a Civil War cannon where the Baptismal font usually is. (in the middle in front of the altar.) And Pastor F. wasn't the Pastor but our Pastor Emeritus was preaching from the Lectern because the Pulpit was over taken by a Christmas Tree.

I wasn't drinkin' nothin' but Diet Pepsi!!!! (I can't drink anymore with the diabetes and the meds I'm on. *SIGH*)

Quilty, take care of that bug and watch out for the DEER. Last fall, one day Tiger came running inside Mommy come see the reindeer! My husband and I went out and saw nothing, but the neighbor told us half a dozen white-tails had just run down our street. One day several years ago, one Monday morning someone went to the local bridal shop to return some tuxedos from a weekend wedding. The bridal shop wasn't open yet but the front door was smashed. When the police investigated the burglary, they discovered the "burglar" was still in the shop fighting himself in the big mirrors. Then he ran out the door and was found a few blocks away in someone's yard. The owner of the bridal shop had the antlers mounted and they have been on the wall behind the cash register ever since.

How weird. Speaking of dreams and deer, I had a nightmare last night about driving home in the dark and going slowly to avoid deer. This did no good as the deer became so abundant that I had to slow down and was yelling out the window and honking to get them to move. That worked until they turned into LIONS!!!!

When a lion grabbed my had before I could roll up the window, I woke up. Lions in Texas? What's that about?!

Maybe not having time to drink has pushed my subconscious over the edge, but I think Kae's dreams have mine beat.

That's funny. LOL I think we're going camping tonight, if we end up at this one with no electric hookups and if we do, it may be just one night, we never got the gas heater in the camper to work. If we end up there I'll see how it goes. Its been in the low 70's during the day the past 2 days so it may not be to bad

Fall camping is the best, if it doesn't get too cold at night. The bugs are pretty much gone and the heat doesn't overwhelm. THe colors are beautiful and the air is crisp.

I love autumn!
