Thanks Jim....and yes, I remember.Prayers coming your way
Remember what I told you today, God loves you.
I debated with myself on whether to talk about some news I got today...but I would like to ask for prayer. A couple of you here already know about this, but many others are my friends too...and I just need Christian encouragement right now.
I got a call from my doctor's nurse today that I have a suspicious mass after having a mammogram last friday. I will be having ultrasound and another mammogram before anything else is done. We are in the "wait and see" mode right now.
I hope it is ok that I talked of this here.
Thanks everyone.
Yea but it's an exercise in constraint for me and somewhat of a comfort that I can hopefully now have a dialog without going off the deep end. I've been dealing with anger and resentment for a year now and with God's mercy I hope I can see my way clear again and not fall into that pit.I think that Universalist Debate thread has quickly turned into a looney rant. I knew that was a bad idea.
He said he would love an opportunity to debate universalism in the Lutheran forum. I find it odd that I'm still waiting for him to actually get to a defense for universalism. Who knows when that'll be. One of the things that is frustrating in talking to him is that he can't stay on topic. He's all over the place, jumping from one topic to the next without any clue of where he'll eventually end up. He's ranting now, but wait til he gets to the raving. Then the real fun begins! LOLI think that Universalist Debate thread has quickly turned into a looney rant. I knew that was a bad idea.
You're doing great so far. You haven't even broken a sweat with this guy from what I can tell. Plus I'm also learning alot from you guys on how to deal with a universalist. Your approach is a lot different and more effective than mine. But then you guys know your stuff, where as I'm just a babe in the woods. Well actually the desert, but now we're just splitting hairs that I no longer have. LOLYea but it's an exercise in constraint for me and somewhat of a comfort that I can hopefully now have a dialog without going off the deep end. Well, it's near impossible to "debate" someone who makes things up as he goes.
Thanks filo, Kae, and latebloomer. I appreciate your prayers very much.Praying for you sweetie! Let's hope it's just something fibrous or something.
But, if it IS something else...You'll be FINE. I speak from experience you know.
Let me know if you need an ear...I can give you my number or whatever!!
Kae
