Sis, is your Gyno a woman? If so, have you been to see her lately? Medications can cause problems with the chemical balance in a woman's body and that can lead to some of the problems you are experiancing. If your Gyno. isn't a woman, switch. Men have no buisiness in that field. I mean, men are okay for delivering babies and such, I guess. But not for the day-to-day examinations and so on. Forgive me if I'm repeating things that you've already tried or brought up something embarrasing. But a woman's chemistry is not something to be taken lightly. It's cruicial.

And yes, sweetie, you are always in my prayers. Although, it sometimes seems that I am the least of the Lord's servants...

On a happier note, I recieved no less than nine Happy Birthday notices from the various Forum Boards I log onto.:happyblush: Automated, to be sure, still... I wish my children were so thoughtful.:sigh::doh::p

Happy Birthday! :prayer: that your children get a clue.

Actually I have to disagree. My OB is a male and without going into the details here, he gets it, especially in how he handled my sister's C-section the other day. The nurses were actually telling us how much they like him as well. Maybe he's an exception, I don't know.

Seajoy, Stude is on to something - have you considered a progesterone cream? Estrogen dependence, a very common condition in women, is linked to depression and a bunch of other stuff. Progesterone can help with that. The non-prescription creams have a low enough dose that they won't harm you if that's not the problem, so it's safe enough to try, even if you are on other medication (though it may be wise to ask your doctor first).

That's but one of the reasons I'm doing all I can to avoid any kind of hormone therapy. So far, so good.

I'm not one to discount the importance of medication, but so many combination possibilities cause concern when one thinks about chemical and hormone balances. My BIL (an OB-GYN) used to tell me that he had no problem admitting how little is actually known about the female reproductive system. Kind of makes me wonder why men would dare attempt to enter the field. :p

Exactly, Porter, and that's my point precisely. Obstectrics, is a field I have no problem seeing a man in. Gynocology is one place where they are out of place. Men just don't understand what makes a woman tick and women need that empathic understanding to recieve a proper diagnosis. My wife's condition went untreated because her OB/GYN didn't see anything wrong. Yet, her periods were completely out of wack. She had problems with violent mood swings and actually personality changes. She was still herself, not another person, but the personality was completely different. A proper diagnosis would have evened out her chemical balance and returned peace into my household. As it is, the result of inaction was... tragic.

Thanks Bloomer.

Well, I'm getting my car put back together. It took me the greater part of yesterday to get the starter sorted out. Aparently, the steering on a '61 Studebaker had a different linkage and there were'nt the clearance issues I'm running into with the '56. I may have to switch with my pickup if what I did yesterday turns out not to work. We'll see...

It was very cold last night. Yet, the light frost we got doesn't seem to have set anything back. Not even my seedlings. I hope and pray the Lord is gracious enough to extend this rain into the next month at least..:crossrc:

I hope today is a better one, Sis. Lord's blessings to you all.

Has anyone here seen the old Noir version of A Tale Of Two Cities? It amazes me the difference between the films of the thirties and now. It was produced by Selznick and directed by Conway, the same team that worked on Gone With The Wind (well, at least one of the several directors of G.W.T.W.). I was a bit amazed at the message of Christ woven throughout the movie. They would never do such a thing nowdays.

Wow, the kitchen is a cold empty place lately... Everyone must be out enjoying this beautiful early summer weather!:D

Well, the boys got sheared yesterday. Yours truely forgot the camera, so no pictures of that. They looked pretty funny when I released them from the trailer though:

The black one hadn't been done aparently for several years. The Shearer said Willie was so felted up (matted) that he likely would have died this summer from the heat. Indeed, when his fleece was removed, the skin side was as dense and hard as a Stetson hat. Now he's sleek and black, not fluffy and chocolate brown anymore. The two Jacob's sheep just look silly.

Wow Stude, they look cold now!

Guess I never did come back here and say how things went for me. I was in the hospital for depression again, so I was away for awhile. I'm doing much better now, and am grateful to God for His mercy once again.

Sis I am so glad to hear you're doing better!:D:clap: Yes, the hardships this world causes can make us grateful for even the small blessings. Then again, some of those small blessings are in reality, huge.;)

Cold? No, they were roasting in those heavy fleeces. The boys have been much more friendly since the shearing, kinda like they're grateful to be rid of those heavy winter coats. It's often been in the upper seventies during the day here and in the mid-fifties often at night. So they were pretty uncomfortable. Now, they seem a lot happier. Next week it is predicted to be in the mid to upper eighties. They got those hair-cuts none too soon.

As pretty as some areas are in CA I don't know why people live there. It's just a den........ I get a rash thinking about it. Must be an allergic reaction. :p

Got no choice here RadMan. Every time I try to escape California, all my vehicles quit at once. I'm not kidding either! It's uncanny, though quite true. Though with eight and nine point earthquakes off the coast here, we just might get lucky and the whole bay area will become one big empty bay.;) Such luck we should have, right?

Well... today's one of those low points. I lose my mail box today. See, I don't have a physical address of my own, so the Post Office requires me to pay for my box. Since I don't have the nearly sixty bucks, they're taking away my box. It took me till today to come up with enough for six month's service, but since it's the eleventh, one day past the maximum time, then they want a further fifteen dollars. Thus, putting the cost again out of my reach.

Now, I have to change the registration on my vehicles (DMV charges for that), voter registration, God knows what else.:sigh: It's not that I don't have any mail service now. I can use George's box. It's just that this has been my address now for seven years. It sucks that every other resident of this community gets a free mail box and I have to pay.

It really stinks that the U.S. Government goes out of their way to penalize the poor...

Hi Stude - a real bummer about your mailbox. I hope you have been able to work something out.

Anybody here going on vacation this summer? All we have is one wedding after the next. I'm going to miss my class reunion, as ya can't make it to everything. I would love to just get away and relax. Don't think that will be possible this summer.

That sucks about the mailbox. :( :prayer:

The funniest thing with the kids today. I have two small daylilly gardens. They have some of my grandmothers plants from before she died and we had to sell her house - some are over 40 years old. I'm a black thumb, so they are alive only by the grace of God.

Anyway tonight after dinner, I took the kids outside to play. I had to run inside to get something, so I did that real quick, and when I came back out, I looked over to their swing set and they were not there. For a split second I panicked and then saw one at one garden and the other at the other garden...weeding... Yes, weeding. I have not shown them how to weed, or what a weed is, but yet there they were, pulling weeds, laughing and singing in Wolayta to each other. They did not pull a single plant that didn't need to be pulled.

My goodness they garden better than me!
