Former staffers sometimes don't see the ads anymore. I think it's a perk? Or maybe an enticement for going back to staff?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure thats what it is, but I never even realized I didn't see adds

Where are you moving to Stude?

At this point, Rad, into a storage unit. I have to find a temporary home for my cars, both running and not. As for where to park myself; the Lord was gracious in providing for me a lovely little travel trailer with which I can be a bit flexible in where I park myself. As painful as the loss of Nana was this year, it was also the loosening of a bond. Though honestly, I often feel lost without her.

In a nutshell... I don't yet know. The Lord hasn't seen fit to show me that yet.

Right now, it's all I can do to keep up with the current situation. I have two cars to return to operable condition and one to repair. How I'm going to pay insurance for five vehicles, I don't know. Here in California, you have to have insurance and pay a full year's registration to use a vehicle, even only temporarily. So, I'm not quite sure how I'm going to go about this.

On the up side today, I have Bess almost ready to roll. She has her new clutch disc installed and I've almost got her re-assembled. She'll have an Edelbrock carb (if I can get it to work properly) so I hope to eliminate the carb swapping. I'm still stymied with getting the Gimmy going though. The Carb is missing the fuel port. I have to find one before I can use it. Thankfully, Holley is a common Carb. Then when I'm done with that, there's putting in the transmission... oh... joy.

Radman is grilling ribs! Later hubby and I are going for a ride in the convertable with Radman and Johnsgal - I've never done that - eeeeek!

Sounds like fun!!!!

I am wondering if Rad still has a bike. Better watch out if he does.

You've never ridden in a Convertible? You're going to love it! Front is better than back seat in my not-so-humble-opinion.

Oh, almost forgot, very important, cover your hair. Otherwise it'll get really tangled up.

Hey Stude. Get one vehicle going and load up. The position is still open here. Leave everything else behind or auction it off. It ain't worth draggin "stuff" around unless it is truly a keep-sake. You can alwasy go back and get it later after you're situated.
