I think someone said such a statement shows one doesn't understand the law. Have you ever seen this verse -
For until the law sin was in the world.
Murder is still a sin as it was prior to the law shown by Moses fleeing Egypt.
Care to pick out of the list which one you keep? BTW don't bother mentioning the 4th which you violate every week.I never divided the law; there are 613 commandments. Please show me where I seperated the law? I mean we can't agree to obey 10 simple commandments; how can I possible explain the other 603 laws when many refuse to obey just 10?
Just as soon as you quit posting false doctrine and assumptions/accusations.Your insults will never work for you because you already admitted you do not attempt to keep any of them. Therefore you COULD be a liar, thief, idol worshipper; dishonor sabbath and torah as a whole. It is no need to continue this unfruitful discussion, you are not interested in thoughtful debate. Please do not post to me anymore.
Straight up obfuscation. Answer my question please and counter my statement. Betting the truth is you won't because you can't.Did salvation or the Word begin with you?
The law we're talking about here at CF isn't the Egyptian civil law. Yes its part of the reason Moses fled.Sin is violation of the law, I am sure the ancient Egyptians had law, it was a sin for a man to murder an Egyptian soldier.

Burden of proof is on you. It already been shown your doctrines are false. You accuse me of the things you do.

Define "holy law" firstWhat about when Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit? Did the law of nature exist in the garden? What about when Cain murdered his brother? Where there is no law, there is no sin, yet sin entered the world. Surely G-d gave his holy law to Adam.
No, I don't agree unless you define what you mean by the law. I am not playing this law means whatever you want it to mean game, I've played the command/commands/commandment game with SDA and don't buy it either. The law is holy, do you agree?

I'm not going to buy vague arguments not based upon the Bible but word games define what you mean or your argument is garbage here.
Do you accept the whole of chapter 7 of Romans? I do.I am not sda, will you accept Rom 7:12 as truth?
Do you accept the whole of chapter 7 of Romans? I do.
4 Likewise, my brothers, you also have died to the law through the body of Christ, so that you may belong to another, to him who has been raised from the dead, in order that we may bear fruit for God.
21 So I find it to be a law that when I want to do right, evil lies close at hand. 22 For I delight in the law of God, in my inner being, 23 but I see in my members another law waging war against the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members. 24 Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? 25 Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself serve the law of God with my mind, but with my flesh I serve the law of sin.
If you read the chapter.... the law of sin is what you are equating.... which differs here from the law of God.
You mentioned a scripture here in a chapter that mentions the law of sin trying to use that as your "example". The problem is taking scripture out of context and abusing it against the authors will. Paul equated the Law holy for a purpose and it is not the purpose you are equating it.Did I mention the law of sin? I told you I was refering to the holy law from G-d, G-d gave Adam in the garden.
You keep insisting on this as if you have struck a gold mine. You didn't make a point at all. You directly contradicted Scripture, which the inspired author interpreted for the reader: the bondwoman = the covenant from Mount Sinai, which is the Ten Commandments. So no, it is obvious that you don't agree with Scripture.
Review your contradiction again:
See your own contradiction: your claim that God didn't ordain the Ten Commandments, concurrent with a claim that He did. The bondwoman was defined as the covenant from Mount Sinai in v.24, which is the Ten Commandments. Those retained by it have no claim to eternal life, as they are outside God's redemption.

Ignore most of chapter 7 of Romans and you can see what you think you see... but you are only fooling yourself.
