CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I was just thinking, before I read your post, 'Why can't I just go over to the Depression thread and say, 'I hurt', you know 'Sometimes, it's just... not 'too' much, but yeah, 'too much at once'.
And then I saw you liked my Onionhead Story, and I smiled, and I don't feel like going over there:

I needed the prayers yesterday, and I need 'em today: I am alone and low--no energy or confidence to do anything; feeling just to vulnerable and fragile to do much, so I'm praying, and reading The Bible, and playing games--not just for me, but if I don't play, then someone in a game thread can't play either, because for some reason there aren't as many people on here, in the Games, these days.

I thought with winter coming on, there would be more people here, especially back east and in the midwest but I'm wrong--there are fewer and fewer; maybe everyone is already Christmas shopping or in the winter duldrums and not posting, I don't know, just feels silent...
(I thought I sent this.. been sitting here who knows how long. Having that kind of day...)
