I love how I've met some sweet people here at CF that have graciously accepted a newbie and held her under their wing until she can fly on her own.

I like when people say thank you when you let them move ahead of you in line at the store (and vice versa).

Continuing that theme, I like when those w/authority know everyone in the organization by name, from the VPs to the janitors and all in between. And take the time to talk to them whenever possible.

I went to the airport today...the automatic door wouldn't open. So, I pushed it, and then it did. The lady on the other side laughed...and I said "It was stuck!" (not funny in writing...but, the way I said it..made her laugh) I like when people you don't even know...make a comment, make a joke, share some commonality with mirth. Makes it feel like we're not alone on this planet.

I like that a man opens a door for me. That does not happen often, as Norwegian men are not polite enough to do that, but when it happens, it makes me feel a bit good.

When someone sees through my pain (which comes off as an attitude problem)and says something kind and encouraging to me. (you have no idea what a difference it makes, really. )

What is it they say? A real friend is someone who knows how you really are, and loves you anyway?
