What I always do to be safe is ALWAYS make sure I have enough money and order stuff that is below what I brought. I also like to just pay my half. That way I don't feel bad.

Smart gal. I'm not cheap, I just don't date much. So when I DO get together with someone, I try to make it special. After I get to know them a bit, we might mutually agree to go places that aren't so budget-busting. Until she wins the lotto jackpot.
