It appears some members of the Honduras caravan have arrived in Tijuana. Some of them have "tested the waters" and briefly hopped onto US soil before going back to the Mexican side when border patrols closed in.

But the Army deployment is in Texas. We're doomed!

"They" were even once hired by Donald Trump and he's been ranting and raving about them. But I don't think we're suppose to be pointing out his blatant hypocrisy in all of this.

Here's a partial quote from the article.

Tuesday’s group, whose members arrived in nine buses, was mostly comprised of men, but included 36 women and 12 children, according to a tally by the Tijuana city government. They had been offered transportation from Guadalajara, and split off from the larger group that is continuing to make its way to the U.S. border, and late Tuesday were making their way through the state Nayarit, hundreds of miles away.

As I understand it, some of the caravan participants have been offered rides by passing motorists, or other faster methods of travel, so the group of thousands appears to have some splinter groups.

That was probably the most logical place to deploy them, since it was the closest border crossing to the caravan at the time. I would not be surprised if part of the current deployment is reassigned to other border crossing areas or if more troops will be called in to provide the same or similar logistical support.

...their grand parents, parents, cousins etc. Central America has been informally integrated in our economy for a couple of generations... just look at any service based industry....
