Peace in Christ.
Repeating again, whosoever shall believe into Him should not perish (mortally die) but shall have an age-lasting life.
That “age” is this current evil age we are living in. This is the promise that God has promised us: an age-lasting life in the here-and-now.
John 3:16-17
(16) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting (AGE-LASTING) life.
(17) For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

for God did so love the world, that His Son -- the only begotten -- He gave, that every one who is believing in him may not perish, but may have life age-during.
It is about our whole spirit and soul and BODY being preserved throughout this current age unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1Th 5:23-24 KJV
(23) And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
(24) Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
Our mortal bodies (being kept alive by our faith throughout the remainder of this current age) will then (at the last trump) be redeemed. This is the expectation of us while we have an age-lasting life in this mortal body until the last trump where this mortal shall then put on immortality.
Rom 8:23 KJV
(23) And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body
We who have the firstfruits of the Spirit (Christ the firstfruits) are made alive NOW in this current age. We shall not mortally perish but have an age-lasting life.

(22) For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
(23) But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
God gives us the record of His Son. This is the witness: that God has given to us AGE-LASTING life….and this life is in His Son.
1Jn 5:10-13
(10) He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
(11) And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal (AGE-LASTING) life, and this life is in his Son.
(12) He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
(13) These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
The false prophets though are preaching “another jesus”….another “son” of their church fathers. They preach another gospel with another spirit.
Their “jesus” though is not THE Christ but is the “antichrist”…the instead-of Christ. They come in His name (Jesus) but preach a false Christ....an antichrist.
They preach not the true Jesus but a decoy Jesus….and those who receive them in this deception are not being preached the true gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and are being led down the broad way to the destruction of their mortal bodies.

(4) For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.
Which Jesus shall we choose? Our choices: Jesus who is THE Son of the Father in Heaven who gives us an age-lasting life or their “jesus” Barabbas (son of their church father).

(17) Therefore when they were gathered together, Pilate said unto them, Whom will ye that I release unto you? (Jesus) Barabbas, or Jesus which is called Christ?
They intend on seducing us into choosing their “son” and not the true only-begotten Son of the Father within whom we have an age-lasting life. There is only ONE only-begotten Son of the Father in Heaven.

(24) Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.
(25) And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal (AGE-LASTING) life.

In ignorance do we choose to serve their “jesus” Barabbas instead of choosing the Prince of Life. Barabbas was a murder, robber and insurrectionist. He was a wild beast of a man and not the Lamb as the true Jesus. The thief only comes to steal and to kill and to destroy but the true Jesus comes so we might have life….

(10) The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
When we choose their “jesus”, we are then killing (present tense) the Prince of Life out of our own lives. God has ALREADY raised Him from the dead so that we might have an age-lasting life NOW in this mortal body. We perish when we choose to serve their “another jesus” and not THE Jesus who is called the Christ.

(14) But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you;
(15) And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.
Through faith in His name…the name of the true Son…. does He make our mortal bodies strong....giving us an age-lasting life.

(16) And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
(17) And now, brethren, I wot that through ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers.
If the princes of this AGE (not “world”) had known the true gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ…the only begotten Son…they would not crucify (present tense) the Lord of glory.
The “Lord of glory” means that He has already been raised from the dead by God….but they are crucifying His manifest age-lasting life (that is available now) in those whom they are deceiving unto their mortal destruction. They are preventing His manifest age-lasting life from appearing in this earth in anyone by the massive deception that is happening now. In ignorance do our church rulers (the princes of this age) do this.

(8) Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
This is why they will say i(n their scoffing of the preaching of the true gospel of our salvation) “where is the PROMISE of His coming”.
The promise is an age-lasting life in the here-and-now in this mortal body. Where is this age-lasting life now in this earth for we do not see it being manifest anywhere. The church fathers have all died. All things (death) continues as they were from the beginning of creation.

(3) Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
(4) And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
We don’t see the age-lasting life of the true Jesus among them because they are still under the wrath of God….being mortally destroyed for their ungodliness.

(5) For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
(6) Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:
(7) But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
(8) But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

They do not confess that Jesus Christ IS COMING in the flesh….our mortal flesh. He gives our mortal flesh an age-lasting life now in this present evil age.
The deceiver…the false prophet…preaches “another jesus” who is an “antichrist”…a instead-of the true Christ. Yet, they are calling the “jesus” that they are preaching the true Christ and deceive MULTITUDES and lead them down to their mortal destruction.

(7) For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
(8) Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.
They preach that their jesus DELAYS His coming. They are the preachers of the “prince that SHALL COME” instead of the Prince of Life who comes now to give us an age-lasting life.

They cut off the true Messiah from this earth. They are preventing His age-lasting life from being made manifest in this earth. They only come to steal, kill and destroy.

(26) And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
They preach that Jesus DELAYS His coming. They are not looking for Jesus to give us an age-lasting life in this mortal body.

They preach with the spirit of the antichrist (instead-of the true Christ). They preach that He SHALL COME (delays). They are the people of the “prince that shall come”. Their “jesus” the antichrist shall come. But John contrasts this by saying that EVEN NOW ALREADY it is in the world. They preach Jesus delays when He does not.
(3) And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
(4) Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

He that IS COMING NOW will arrive (giving us an age-lasting life) and will “NOT TARRY” (as preached by the false prophets).

(36) For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
(37) For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.
(38) Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
But those who think that He delays His coming will beat upon those who will preach the true good news of our salvation.

(48) But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
(49) And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
They will not hear the Spirit of Truth.

(6) We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
The children of God will not speak evil (not commit sin) when they will hear the Spirit of Truth. The children of the devil though will not show love towards their brother who does come to preach the true gospel of our salvation. In their heart, they think that Jesus delays His coming and will beat upon them with malicious words and contentions.
