It is getting harder and harder to hear the name Jesus Christ on TV unless you are watching a religious show.
May God Bless You
In Jesus’ time on earth, he was at times prevented from speaking openly about God in public. He taught them in parables. Matthew 13 is about why Jesus spoke in parables and some of the parables he taught.

Your observation is even more prevalent in the U.S. Marumorose, due to the country's secular trend of the past 60 years that has removed God (and especially Jesus) from the public arena. The media is as responsible for this as the atheist groups, liberal courts, and ungodly leaders that dismiss the country's Christian heritage.

I find it even more noticeable and disturbing how the 3rd commandment has become neglected during my own lifetime. When I was a child, it was an acknowledged sin to take the Lord's name in vain. No TV station would allow such language and only disrespectful non-Christians would do so - and it was rare. Today, the JC swearing and o m g culture has completely infiltrated our daily lives. I not only hear it routinely in movies, TV shows, and daily conversations, but even from my supposed Christian or Catholic friends. I think it's offensive, shameful, and another sign of declining moral values - in the U.S. at least.
