I would like to construct an RP with someone. Here's a bit of background info that we'll be working off of:
Those of you who are familiar with such services such as Voice of the Martyrs are aware that Christians are beaten, imprisoned, and tortured on a daily basis around the world, for no reason except that they are followers of Jesus. Sometimes they are taken, and the families are not even notified so that they have no idea where their loved ones are, for even years at a time sometimes.
There are many countries in which this happens. Now, we'd have some choices to make:
First, who would the persecution come from? Athiest governments like China or North Korea, governments who try unsuccessfully to help such as Colombia? Or clashes in religion, from such religions as Hinduism or Islam?
Next, where does our story take place?
After that, do all of our characters start out as believers, or do some
a) profess Christianity but know nothing, then witness persecution and become true believers
b) deny Christianity, but are touched by the Holy Spirit and turn to worshipping Him
c) persecute Christians, and never change in the RP?
For this RP, I request dedicated, skilled players who are willing to learn about the global persecution of the Church.
It would be a fast-paced, adventurous RP, full of thrill and excitement. We could even place it during the Tribulation...
