Just before I shipped to jumped school I was camping with my Dad. Sitting on top of a Montana mountain watching the sunset behind the next ridge he looked at me and said, "I can't beleive my son is crazy enough to jump out of planes." To which I replied, "I'm not crazy enough to be a jarhead."

it depends on how you define "jews" . . .are you referring to racial Jews directly from the blood line of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob? It was to these that the Old Testament promises of the land were made.

Jewish Zionism was basically an offshoot of Christian Zionism which wanted to see a re-established Nation of Israel to usher in the end timese so they (the Chrisitan Zionists) could be raptured. They saw it as their duty to help God bring abouit what they thought was prophecy yet to be fulfilled.

Jewish Zionists who pushed for the creation of the state of Israel made no bones about it that they were going after ALL the land that David and Solomon ruled, from the Euphrates to the River of Egypt and the Mediteranian Sea. How do you think someone as an arab, hearing that this group intended to take over all that land and were engaged in terrorist acts to accomplish their goals, would respond?

I think we would see them doing what they are doing today . . resisting Israel, turing their tactics back on them.

The ones who run the state of Israel are by no means innocent, in fact they shoulder most of the burden of culpability for what is going on in the mid east.

Many christians think God arranged that.

In the bigger picture, those who think that are very, very few when all of Christianity is taken into account.

Some say Jewishness is a religion, not ethnicity.
I am trying to learn here.

It is a religion, an ethnicity, and a race . . . and now a secular movement. . . .

So, which "Jew" are we talking about really?

Not to mention the palestinian people had a chance to have land and government of hteir own back when Israel was recognized by the UN, but they didn't want to participate in a democratic government...so the UN annulled their "right" to the land.

And since you are hell bent on trying to convey where they came from let's get it straight the first known people of Palestine where the Philistines, which are of GREEK origin, who were NOT anywhere near related to the Arab nation and who DAVID, a JEW, defeated. Also, the name Palestine is not even a country description but a REGION where there is no nation and state.

Just like your attempt at history about Sam Houston, you failed miserably about the history of Palestine.

As someone who is of Jewish decent and heirtage, you are beyond VASTLY mistaken to think I am not as close to Abraham as you.
