Those Who Cause Divisions
Romans 16:17-20 ESV

“I appeal to you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and create obstacles contrary to the doctrine that you have been taught; avoid them. For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naive. For your obedience is known to all, so that I rejoice over you, but I want you to be wise as to what is good and innocent as to what is evil. The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.”

Those who cause divisions among Christians (or professing Christians) are not just those within the gatherings of the church, but they are also those who have power, influence, and persuasion over the masses, which includes over many Christians (and/or professing Christians only).

They are people in positions of government, in the media, and in other positions of power in the world, as a whole. And many Christians, at least here in America, are following them, and they are believing whatever they are told by them, for they have been trained to worship the government via the pledge to the flag, via patriotic songs, and via the honoring of our military as not only our heroes, but as our “saviors.”

So, many people who profess faith in Jesus Christ are following preachers, pastors, government heads, the media (usually of choice), and others in positions of power in the world, and they are doing so with blind obedience just because they have been trained to do that, and because they are not questioning and testing what they hear to see if it is the truth or not.

So, they are like sheep being led to the slaughter, and as those who are following a “pied piper” to their deaths, for they refuse to question what they are being told, because, in all honesty, many of them have been convinced that anything outside the “official narrative” is a “conspiracy theory,” which is not to be trusted. Satan is very clever in his lies.

And look at the results. Christians are fighting each other, even out in public, among the unsaved, and over such things as if the Republicans are right, or if the Democrats are right, or if masks are right or wrong, or if what are being called “Vaccines” are right or wrong, or if CNN is better than Fox News, and vice versa, and the list goes on and on.

Social media just feeds this with the vast number of memes they produce to incite these divisions, and the news media does the same, getting people all worked up so that they will fight each other, perhaps even to the death. And Christians are chiming right in with the people of the world, fighting others over these issues and many more.

Even though we have many warnings in the Scriptures about deception, it is like so many Christians just think they are above that. They hold on tight to what they are being told, but not in Scripture, and not by God, but by mere mortals, as though they are gods, and as though their words are sacred and that they are to be revered as holy. But they are mere mortals, just like us.

The Lord wants us to be wise about what is good and innocent about what is evil, but we can’t do that if we close our ears and our eyes to any messages which are contrary to the official narratives coming from our leaders and from the various media sources. We also can’t assume all opposition to the official stories are lies or we are ripe for deception. We need to question what we are being told, and we must pray to God for discernment.

We have to wake up from our slumber, and we have to face the reality of the times in which we now live. For, we can see prophecy of Scripture being fulfilled before our eyes daily. When in our history have we ever experienced anything like we are experiencing today? Some people have, to a degree, in other countries, but in America this is unprecedented!

To Make War on the Saints
Rev 13:5-7, 14-17 ESV

“And the beast was given a mouth uttering haughty and blasphemous words, and it was allowed to exercise authority for forty-two months. It opened its mouth to utter blasphemies against God, blaspheming his name and his dwelling, that is, those who dwell in heaven. Also it was allowed to make war on the saints and to conquer them. And authority was given it over every tribe and people and language and nation.”

“And by the signs that it is allowed to work in the presence of the beast it deceives those who dwell on earth, telling them to make an image for the beast that was wounded by the sword and yet lived. And it was allowed to give breath to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast might even speak and might cause those who would not worship the image of the beast to be slain. Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name.”

Compare what this passage is talking about to the events of the past two years across the world. They are making war on us, whether we choose to see it or not. They are conquering us. They are taking authority over every nation in this world. If we ever were, we in America are no longer an independent nation. We are under the rule of this totalitarian regime of the beastly New World Order.

First, they have to destroy the old order of things so out of the ashes of the old order the new order can rise. We are seeing this happening right before our eyes. And many Christians are falling right into its trap because they are not testing what they are hearing, and they are not questioning those in positions of authority and rule and influence. They are the naïve. They are the deceived.

Already it appears that we are being forced into compliance with something which may be harmful to us, and which I believe is harmful. And we are being told that if we do not comply that we won’t be able to “buy or sell,” basically. We will lose our jobs and/or incomes, or we won’t be able to shop at specific stores, or we may not be able to get medical help, or emergency help, or whatever it is they decide to use against us to punish us.

Yet, I am not here to influence you one way or another regarding these types of matters other than to share with you what the Scriptures teach in these matters. For, they teach that we are to test everything we hear to see if it is of God. We aren’t supposed to believe everything we are told, especially coming from those who do not honor God with their lives.

God is to be our only God, not the government, not the media, and not anyone else in a position of influence or power in the world. Please believe the Scriptures! Many people are liars and deceivers. Many are wolves in sheep’s clothing. Many are out to deceive us and to lead us astray. So, don’t believe everything you are told. Test it all against God’s word and in prayer.

For Our Nation

An Original Work / September 11, 2012

Bombs are bursting. Night is falling.
Jesus Christ is gently calling
You to follow Him in all ways.
Trust Him with your life today.
Make Him your Lord and your Savior.
Turn from your sin. Follow Jesus.
He will forgive you of your sin;
Cleanse your heart, made new within.

Men betraying: Our trust fraying.
On our knees to God we’re praying,
Seeking God to give us answers
That are only found in Him.
God is sovereign over all things.
Nothing from His mind escaping.
He has all things under His command,
And will work all for good.

Jesus Christ is gently calling
You to follow Him in all ways.

Men deceiving: we’re believing
In our Lord, and interceding
For our nation and its people
To obey their God today.
He is our hope for our future.
For our wounds He offers suture.
He is all we need for this life.
Trust Him with your life today.
