There's certainly plenty of twisting of words going on. Like trying to tie Project 2025 to Trump to stoke fear, which is something he has nothing to do with, but Kamala is working hard to say it's Trump's agenda. Of course lying about stuff like that will make some extremist on the left think he/she has no other choice, since Trump is an "existential threat" and a "dictator on day one." What about the left taking responsibility for their words?

To be fair America has a proud and storied history of political violence. I’m surprised that with so many previous assassination attempts (and some successes) of important political figures anyone is surprised by all this.Whatever happened to the belief that Americans ought to have freedom of speech and freedom of choice within the law when it comes to our political differences?
