Long story short, I once had a home with an 'entity' in it causing frequent havoc. During an episode, I asked the Lord to send His angels to deal with it, remove it, and then guard against it or any others ever returning. The activity abruptly ceased and never had the issue again.

Sounds like it’s time to move.

If that’s not an option, contact a Catholic priest. They will help anybody who needs it, whether that person is Catholic or not. They can evaluate what needs to be done.

I don’t recommend handling this on your own. And I don’t recommend trusting anyone who advises you to handle it on your own.

The best is if you understand the authority you have in Christ to tell any unclean spirit to go and leave you alone.

So exercise you authority Jason and send the spirit back to where it came from in Jesus Name and you will see it goes.

You do not need protecting from demons. They need protecting from you. Command it to leave in Jesus name. I had been saved a few weeks and I'd gone to a youth camp. At night, I felt a heavy weight pressing down over me, head to toe. I could not move. I knew nothing of demons or spiritual warfare. I just said, as loudly as I could, "Jesus!" It lifted off immediately. I had another experience like it and I used the name of Jesus then as well. I can only think that the Lord put that knowing in my heart because I'd not learned it. The least mature Christian has the same authority and power as the Lord Jesus.

The manifestations I suffered were a result of previous occult involvement. If you've been involved, renounce the occult. Also, stay away from occult computer games and the like. Plead the precious blood of Jesus over your life and cleanse your house with the precious blood also. When God sees the blood, He will cause the destroyer (Satan) to pass over you.

Spend time in gratitude. This replaces fear. But it takes practice to do it.

Do you have faith for that? "All authority" has been given to Christ, and He delegated it to us (Mt 28; Mk 16). He said the gates of hell will not prevail against us (Mt 16). Gates are defensive, therefore He intends for us to be on the offense. Nowhere in Scripture are we told to fear the devil. Respect him? Yes, but fear only God.

I would like to reassert this.

Exorcism is a very specialized vocation and not just anybody should try it. Interacting in any way with the forces darkness is very dangerous. I daresay it's more dangerous than any death trap.

Don't trust anybody who says you should try this yourself. 100% of them have no idea what they're talking about and 100% of them are giving you terrible advice.
