i was Meditating in the Word last night and God spoke to me and showed me something that exploded in my spirit like a bomb. i pray God will enable me by his grace to impart the same to you.

in matthew chapter 15.28 Jesus says to the woman with a demon tormented daughter

"...O Woman, great is thy faith, be it unto you even as thou wilt"

that word
FAITH, came from a greek word that actually means to be
PERSUADED.

that word
WILT, came from a greek word that actually means to
DETERMINE,
CHOOSE,
PREFER

This woman came to Jesus determined and demanding a miracle and Jesus said NO, IM NOT SENT... BUT SHE WOULDNT TAKE NO FOR AND ANSWER, THERE WAS NOTHING THAT WAS GOING TO KEEP HER FROM HER MIRACLE, SHE WAS PERSUADED THAT NO MATTER WHAT SHE WOULD GET HER MIRACLE OR DIE TRYING, SHE HAD AN UNSHAKEABLE FAITH, AND SHE WAS PERSUADED IN HERSELF THAT SHE WOULD GET HER MIRACLE, NO MATTER WHAT! NOTHING!....WOULD KEEP HER FROM HER MIRACLE!

but then, Jesus said NO, ITS NOT FITTING....BUT SHE STILL WASNT SATISFIED, NOTHING WAS GOING TO KEEP HER FROM HER MIRACLE. SHE CLIMBED WALL AFTER WALL, SHE WAS LIKE THE 3 MEN WHO WHERE WILLING TO TEAR THE ROOF OFF THE HOUSE THEY DIDNT EVEN OWN! BECUASE NOTHING! WOULD KEEP THEM FROM THEIR MIRACLE!

and Jesus turned and said GREEEAAAT! IS YOUR PERSUASION!
YOU, O WOMAN, CAN HAVE WHATEVER YOU....YOU.... DETERMINE!

WHATEVER YOU...CHOOSE.
WHATEVER YOU...PREFER!

MY GOD, IF YOU CAN PERSUADE YOURSELF, THERE IS NOTHING GOD WILL NOT GIVE YOU!
YOU NEED TO STOP SAYING IT WASN'T GODS WILL! JESUS SAID
"WHATEVER YOU....WILT!"
JESUS SAID...KNOCK AND THE DOOR SHALL BE OPENED, SEEK...AND YOU SHALL FIND!
AAALLLL.....GOOD THINGS COME DOWN FROM THE FATHER LIGHTS!
ALL GOOD THINGS!

GOD SAYS, THERE IS NO MIRACLE YOU CANT HAVE, NO MIRACLE YOU CANT GET!
STOP TRYING TO PERSUADE GOD TO GIVE IT TO YOU! PERSUADE YOURSELF THAT NO MATTER WHAT, NOTHING WILL KEEP YOU FROM YOUR MIRACLE, AND IT IS YOURS!

STOP WONDERING WHY IT ISNT GODS WILL, OR WHETHER OR NOT ITS GODS WILL, ITS GODS WILL, BUT GOD DID NOT DETERMINE WHAT THIS WOMAN RECEIVED FROM HIM...SHE DETERMINED IT!

GOD DID NOT CHOOSE HER MIRACLE! SHE CHOSE HER MIRACLE!

but only, if your persuaded! none of this childlike, doubleminded, ficle, undecided, unfaithful, bedtime praying!

YOU HAVE TO MAKE YOUR MIND UP THAT YOU MIGHT HAVE TO TEAR HEAVON DOWN, MAYBE YOU GOTTA LAY IN YOUR TEARS ALL NIGHT! AND MAKE THE NEIGHBORS CALL THE COPS ON YOU! BUT YOUR GOING TO GET YOUR MIRACLE! IF YOU CAN BEGIN TO PRAY WITH SUCH PERSUASION, THERE IS NOTHING YOU CANNOT GET FROM GOD!

IT IS TOO EASY FOR THE DEVIL TO SHUT YOU UP!

but people today, unwilling to shout, unwilling to shake, unwilling to make their neighbor think their crasy, they honor everything in this world except God and those in need of a miracle.... no.
their the dogs who live off the crumbs that fall from the families table!

WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO PASSIONATE, LOUD, SWEATY, HEAVON AND EARTH SHAKING PRAYER?!
SOMETIMES YOU GOTTA TEAR THE ROOF OFF A HOUSE, KNOCK A DOOR DOWN, PUSH SOMEBODY OUT OF THE WAY! IF YOUR DESPERATE, AND DETERMINED, PERSUADED...THERE IS NOTHING GOD WILL NOT DO FOR YOU!
NOBODY, AND NO THING.... YOU CAN HAVE YOUR MIRACLE!

miracles are few and far between these days, weve replaced them with
misapplied scripture and the handicapped solutions of psycology!
but it is not God who isnt persuaded, but rather it is us.

Great Word, Endure. You've pressed it into us very well, and here's some spiritual steel which speaks the same thing you just did.

Matthew 11:12
And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. (violent is also appropriately translated "eager claiming for one's self")

Joshua 13:33
But unto the tribe of Levi Moses gave not any inheritance: the LORD God of Israel was their inheritance, as he said unto them. (This one is a little more indirectly linked)

Romans 8:32
He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

Amen is an interesting word too. It finishes all our prayers, and has a sense of Christ's declaration on the cross: "It is finished." All that preceeded the prayer in the Holy Ghost is finished, and now a new thing is being born. Out of the mouth of the servant the Word is declared and "Amen-ed." Amen directly translates as this:

"So be it."
"It now is."
"Truly."

Whenever Christ says the words TRULY TRULY, the greek is "AMEN AMEN." A prayer is supposed to be a revelation of truth, one that may not have transpired or been revealed in the natural, but certainly one that exists in the Eternal/Spiritual! A righteous, Holy Ghost prayer brings the sub-realities of the physical into conformity with the "AMEN," that is, the Word. This sort of prayer is very valuable. I think this is the prayer that you are speaking about, the prayer which shakes abodes and kingdoms.

You have a good Word, endure, and a healthy zeal!

wow. great thread. I wondered, when I read the story a while back, as to why Jesus denied this lady twice and then gave her what she wished. Thankyou for bringing the interpretation!

I know that often people hide behind the 'if its your will' as a way of not getting their faith shaken if it doesnt happen....But Jesus used those words himself "nevertheless not My will but Yours be done" acknowledging that The Father always knows best. How do you decide what is unfaith and what is submission to the Fathers will? This is one that has bothered me for a while as I am so aware that God is interested in the tiny details of my life and just absolutely live to do what he asks of me. I worry about nothing as I know i rest in his hands as do those I care about...

Perhaps it is His will that we are strenghtened in faith through his word- so whether you chose to belive in a certain miracle for yourself or whether you chose to belive that God will sort it out anyway that it happens - if you are 100% in your heart for him then you will come closer to him.

"I know your works that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then because you are lukewarm and neither cold nor hot I will vomit you out of my mouth." Rev 3:15-16

AMEN! YES! good word dead man walking.
it is certainly true.

kimbot,
i believe that God will give you anything you want, that you ask of him.
the only time that "not my will but yours be done" applies to our lives is in 3 conditions that really have nothing to do with the normal asking of God for what we need.

1. when you must simply put your evil flesh in subjection to the will of God.
2. when your trying to change the way the kingdom works.
3. your asking for something out of a sinful motivation.

we all know those 3 things, but thats what Jesus was talking about.
he wasnt in anyway bringing the implication that we must wonder whether or not God wants to meet every need in our life. he was not in anyway saying that sometimes God just says "no". the only time God would say no is if it is one of those 3 circumstances.
but they dont apply to simply having a need or care in our lives and asking him to meet them.
if you are persuaded in yourself, you can ask any good thing from God, and he will give it. it just cant be evil, or wrong like those 3 things are.

more than once Jesus said things that implied he would give us anything we could possibly ask for, and he did not say anything about sometimes he might choose to not give it for some reason. '
thats what i think anyway.

thanks for your reply.

thankyou C.A.B.L.
