THERE'S NO PEACE WITH JEZEBEL
2 Kings 9:22 " And it came to pass, when Joram saw Jehu, that he said, [Is it] peace, Jehu? And he answered, What peace, so long as the whoredoms of thy mother Jezebel and her witchcrafts [are so] many? "
There is a last days spirit that is called in Revelation 2 with the Church of Thyatira "Jezebel" after the infamous wife of King Ahab. Jezebel is the witch who ruled in the background through her weak double minded husband and attacked the prophets of God and set up her own false religion.
She was the witch who embodied the simple truth told by the prophet Samuel... 1 Samuel 15:23 " For rebellion [is as] the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness [is as] iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from [being] king. "
Jezebel is the ultimate spirit of rebellion... not open rebellion, but the kind that rules unrighteously behind the scenes... it is the kind of rebellion that hates Godly authority and refuses to submit to Godly authority... but will seduce or manipulate others to achieve their goals.
The name of Jezebel means "not dwelling" or "without cohabitation" or "unchaste" (Baal is husband to... married to the Devil)... she controlled Ahab without proper submission... JEZEBEL IS THE SPIRIT THAT CAUSES WIVES TO MANIPULATE THEIR HUSBANDS... OR CHILDREN TO RUN THEIR PARENTS... OR CHURCH BOSSES... OR ABUSIVE HUSBANDS... IT IS UNRIGHTEOUS AUTHORITY OR SPIRITUAL WITCHCRAFT!
THERE CAN BE NO PEACE WHEN JEZEBEL AND HER WITCHCRAFTS ARE IN OPERATION.
Jezebel will wreck a kingdom... or a church or a home. It is the spirit that undermines the true move of God and hates the pure word of God and the submission to the Word of God... it wants to set up it's own version and rule secretly. JEZEBEL ORIGINATES FROM A DEMONIC SOURCE!
1 Timothy 4:1-2 " 1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; "
Jezebel is the spirit that works through pastors and church members sometimes that criticize people with a real touch of God... churches in a real revival... because that they don't have the same touch and that they can't control it. Jezebel hates the prophetic move of God!
JEZEBEL WORKS THROUGH TWO SPIRITS... FIRST A DEMONIC SPIRIT OF WITCHCRAFT OR REBELLION. AND SECONDLY THROUGH A WEAK HUMAN SPIRIT OF A WOMAN OR MAN WHO IS PRONE TO CARNAL WEAKNESSES AND OPEN TO DEMONIC MANIPULATION.
People who manipulate often times are easily manipulated. Demons manipulate humans through the weaknesses of their flesh... there has to be a spiritual emptiness in a person to begin with to want to always get their way or wreck other people's lives... and Satan uses that to wreck other people's lives... and sometimes he uses them to hinder a move of God.
Revelation 2:18 " And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet [are] like fine brass; 19 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last [to be] more than the first. 20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. 21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. 22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds."
Jezebel was hindering the move of God in Thyatira... even though they had faith and service and agape love and faith and works that had grown... they had a virus that was poisoning their very being and in the midst of a time of growth they were losing people to Jezebel. There were those in the church that had spiritually corrupted themselves with her (adultery) and was in danger.
You see... there are two things that you have to recognize... if you are dealing with Jezebel in the government or in your homes or in the church... where people are using either seduction or threats or lies to manipulate others into doing their own will... you have to recognize that you have to attack the demons and deal (still out of love) with the people.
Ephesians 6:12 " For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places]. "
Matthew 10:16 " Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. "
People who come under the influence of Jezebel are victims themselves. But if they are left alone they wind up judged as this woman at Thyatira... and eventually those who allow Jezebel to manipulate them into messing up the will and order of God (like Ahab and Joram) will be judged.
Ahab was killed violently... Jehu killed their son Joram and he was dropped into Naboth's field (in a stark judgement over Naboth's vineyard Jezebel plotted and killed over)... and Jezebel fell to her death at the hands of her own servants to be eaten by the dogs.
There is no peace with Jezebel... GOD CANNOT RULE IF WE INSIST ON RULING! Rebellion is hated by God for it is the nature of the original sin of Satan and Adam. Jezebel will rob a house or nation of the peace and presence of God. Then God has to raise up Elijah's.
You find Jezebel in these ways:
Jezebel takes authority that is not hers. It reverses roles. Jezebel controlled Israel by controlling her weak husband. This spirit has replaced roles in homes around the country.
Children Rise up and Tell Their Parents What to Do. Ephesians 6:1 " Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. "
WIVES RULE THEIR HUSBANDS AND THREATEN TO DO THIS OR THAT IF THEY DON'T
HUSBANDS ABUSE THEIR AUTHORITY AND BECOME A DICTATOR IN THE HOME
Ephesians 5:22-25 " 22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. 24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so [let] the wives [be] to their own husbands in every thing. 25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; "
REBELLION AGAINST ALL AUTHORITY.....
IT IS THE CHURCH BOSS SPIRIT THAT DESTROYS REAL MOVES OF GOD
Hebrews 13:17 " Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that [is] unprofitable for you. "
YOU CAN FIND IT HERE IN THE COUNTRY OF TRADITION... WHERE PEOPLE ARE STUBBORN ABOUT THEIR TRADITIONS AND FIGHT ANYTHING OTHER THAN WHAT THEY ARE USED TO. THE ARE THE ONES THAT ATTACK REAL MOVES OF GOD!
A Jezebel spirit cannot tolerate anything or anybody who disagrees with them. They will surround themselves with people who will agree with them and will allow them to speak through them. I have seen preachers allow families to use them as mouthpieces... God forgive us. A Jezebel spirit will try and make you cave in by making you feel like you can do nothing.
We have to first decide not to be afraid of Jezebel... don't let her bully us. Secondly, we mustn't allow Jezebel to seduce us (Jezebel will usually but not always move primarily through women... not being biased against women... it's just a fact). We have to show people love but follow Christ. We must follow the authority that God has placed over us. We must attack the spirit behind the people.
2 Timothy 1:7 " For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. "
Ephesians 6:10-11 " 10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. "
1 Peter 5:8 " Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. "
James 4:7 " Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. "
Matthew 16:19 " And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. "
Jude 1:21-23 " 21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. 22 And of some have compassion, making a difference: 23 And others save with fear, pulling [them] out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. "
If you have allowed Jezebel to influence you or manipulate your home... then it's time to repent of your double mindedness. If you have been used by a spirit of manipulation and have manipulated others... from the husband threatening to hurt his wife; to the wife threatening to cut off her husband; to the child rebelling and bullying their parents... it's spiritual witchcraft. Repent of it.
James 4:6 " 6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. 7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse [your] hands, [ye] sinners; and purify [your] hearts, [ye] double minded. "
GOD TAKE MY WILL, TAKE CONTROL OF MY LIFE... TAKE CONTROL OF MY FAMILY.... TAKE CONTROL OF MY CHURCH..... WE SUBMIT UNTO YOU; WE WANT YOUR POWER WITH US
AND AFTER SUBMITTING TO GOD... IT IS TIME TO RESIST THE SPIRIT OF JEZEBEL WHERE WE FIND IT. REAL REVIVAL IS BEING RESISTED IN THIS AREA BY A TRADITIONAL SPIRIT OF JEZEBEL.
IT IS TIME FOR THE CHURCH TO ATTACK THE SPIRIT OF JEZEBEL OVER OUR LAND... IT IS TIME FOR HARLAN COUNTY TO SURRENDER TO JESUS!
