I think if we look closer to the time when the Lord will return, He is waiting for that time, if fact scripture says that all of creation is waiting for that moment.

Jesus prayed for it:

John 17:20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; 21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. 22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: 23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. 25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me. 26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them. AMEN

Hebrews 6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, 2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. 3 And this will we do, if God permit. 4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, 5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, 6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

Heb 12:22-23 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, to the general assembly and church of the first born, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect.

Ephesians 4:11-12 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

They are for the maturing of the saints.

Ephesians 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:

Jesus will come for those without sin recorded in their Book Of Life in Heaven. He will have blotted out all the sins that they have repented of.

Heb 9:26-28 but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself..was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation

Heb 10:1 "...because that the worshipers once purged should have no more conscience of sins" Heb 10:2 The work of the High Priest (Jesus) is on the perfecting of the saints to sin no more, to be in perfect harmony with the will and word of God. "For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified....Now where remission of these is, there is not more offering for sin" Heb 10:14, 18 So when the Day of Atonement is over in heaven there is no more offering for sin, judgment comes (the plagues), and the end of the world.

Psalm 12:6 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times

1 Corinthians 1:10 I appeal to you, brothers, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another so that there may be no divisions among you and that you may be perfectly united in mind and thought.

1 John 4:17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

1 Kings 8:61 Let your heart therefore be perfect with the LORD our God, to walk in his statutes, and to keep his commandments, as at this day.

Psalm 18:30 As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.

Psalm 18:32 It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect.

Psalm 19:7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.

Psalm 37:37 Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.

Psalm 50:2 Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath shined.

Psalm 101:2 I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.

Psalm 119:96 I have seen an end of all perfection: but thy commandment is exceeding broad.

Proverbs 4:18 But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.

Proverbs 11:5 The righteousness of the perfect shall direct his way: but the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness.

You see all the Lord is looking for in the final harvest are those who by faith are walking in truth in the last days.

Isaiah 18:5 For afore the harvest, when the bud is perfect, and the sour grape is ripening in the flower, he shall both cut off the sprigs with pruning hooks, and take away and cut down the branches.

Isaiah 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

It is in the last days of earth’s history that the concept that the Lord has wanted perfected in the minds of men, is that it is possible to obey His laws perfectly, through the power of the Holy Spirit, in the example of our Lord Jesus.

Jeremiah 23:20 The anger of the LORD shall not return, until he have executed, and till he have performed the thoughts of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it perfectly.

Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Fascinating discussion - would never have thought I would find a person who claimed not to have sinned (after conversion), a person who seems to not even struggle with the notion of sinning.

Still waiting to hear <>< answer to treasure's specifc questions. Is <>< still around? Maybe two months have altered <><'s views of themself.

Those who go around with a sin consciousness, are usually males who feel guilty about masturbation, or females who feel guilty about eating chocolates all day.

They need to understand that it is our spirit which is saved, and that "in my flesh dwelleth no good thing". They then need to relax, and rest in the Lord.

"...He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit." John 15:5

The righteousness which Christ taught is conformity of heart and life to the revealed will of God. Sinful men can become righteous only as they have faith in God and maintain a vital connection with Him. Then true godliness will elevate the thoughts and ennoble the life.

The plan of redemption contemplates our complete recovery from the power of Satan. Christ always separates the contrite soul from sin. He came to destroy the works of the devil, and He has made provision that the Holy Spirit shall be imparted to every repentant soul, to keep him from sinning.
The tempter's agency is not to be accounted an excuse for one wrong act. Satan is jubilant when he hears the professed followers of Christ making excuses for their deformity of character. It is these excuses that lead to sin. There is no excuse for sinning. A holy temper, a Christlike life, is accessible to every repenting, believing child of God.
To say that once we are saved that we are without sin is a fallacy. Every scripture that says sin will not abide in those in Christ means those who have faith in Christ will not live the sinful lifestyle not that they will cease to sin.

The Bible itself states that if we say we are without sin we only deceive ourselves and the truth is not with us.

1 John 1:7-9
7But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all[1] sin.
8If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

None of those scriptures say we cease to sin when we become Christians. If we ceased to sin as Christians there would be no room for the Grace of God.
