do you know what a theraphy first-aid kit is?
1. you get a box (fun to decorate) or a packback (convient pockets).
2. write down your crisis and friend phone numbers.
3. make a list of activities that soothe and distract you (like music, a walk, feeding the ducks, poetry).
4. have a special snack handy (important for your blood sugar to get level and commfort foods like chocolate or fruit).
5. add stuffed animal (like a really soft fuzzy bunny), color pens, paper etc., and also distracting things like a deck of cards, photo alblum/scrap book, to work on.
6. journal books, and favorite pictures... etc.
7. bible scriptures and bible... (make book markers of fav scriptures).
this should be stuff you turn to first.
