I like Greg Bhansen , I was saddened when he suddenly past away , he was not very old (maybe in his 40s )

I cannot agree with The basic premise of Theonomy , although I can see it's appeal.

btw , don't upset Gary North ......... he believes in giving any criminal a good beating then fetching the police

I've friends who are historically theonomists, but I'm not.

I'm generally attracted to some of the insights theonomy has to offer about drawing God's purpose and moral character from the law. I'm not thereby attracted to the idea of building a national legal system along the detailed lines of Mosaic Law, though. I think God calls nations into being; we can't arrogate His intent for another nation to our own.

As to the general moral equity of the Mosaic Law, sure, we could stand to learn a whole lot more about God from Moses.
