According to whose standard? Language is a tool of communication and I simply used it to point out the obvious dishonesty in the denial your intentions. You are the one who came into this forum and made unjust accusations and then denied that was what you were doing. Judge me as you wish, it really makes no difference to me. I honestly have a feeling that even you can't live up to the standard you set for others. Actually you didn't did you?

Sounds "lovey-dovey, sentimental ball of fluff-like" to me! Or does it sound like judging? You can't just say "Judge not" and then make a statement like that. . . you lose all of your credibility and consistancy.

One thing I've noticed, is that when you discern a situation, it's easy to be called judgemental. The alternative? Keep my mind closed and fall into the pit where the ravenous wolves are waiting. Didn't the apostles warn the churches about corrupt individuals in their letters? Really, the word "judgement" is thrown around too much and taken out of context.

Why do we get so angry at heretics and heretical thought? Because they deceive! As for Word of Faith, imagine your child is sick and dies. You tried to believe them into health. You now feel like a failure, or you think God is a failure. How can you not feel cheated, deceived or unworthy of God's grace. I'm sorry you feel out of place at school; it was insensitive of your teacher to speak of someone you respect like that. On the other hand, there are many Christians that feel the same way about Benny Hinn.

As for Calvinists, many of us didn't start out as Calvinists. We got tired of trying to win God's grace, knowing that we couldn't. Many of the beliefs people post in here, remind us of the days when we felt confused and deceived-the days before we were Relieved to be Reformed.

Boy, these guys are funny. They lurk around trying to find ways to throw irrelavent and comical semantic hand grenades. I'm sure they sit back and giggle when they can ruffle Christian's feathers. I guess it gives them some small measure of false comfort, since their only hope rests in such unreliable and doomed foundations as trust in their own wills and worked up "faith" so called. Ignore them, brothers and sisters. They are not brethren, and not seeking the truth. They do the work of their father in trying to cloud the truth, and in standing hilariously prideful in their own imaginations.

Our God reigns eternal from on high, He has redeemed us out of death and sin. We're not required to dance with fools. Leave these to their own Blasphemer's Ball.
