Genesis 3:1

Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

"Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?"

God based question by satan.

"What about thorns, are you one of those who believe thorns didnt come into the world until after Adam fell?"

God based question by satan.
Are you sure? It look kind of like Richard Dawkins to me.

Gensis 3: 17 KJV
And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; 18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;
Where does it say this is when God created the thistles and thorns?

Jesus is a prime example of Creationism (though it went in the opposite direction).

I would take anything you say with a grain of salt, as your signature suggests you believe Jesus was a prime example of Gnosticism, that age old heresy of separation of the spiritual from the physical, which is something I firmly hope that both me and Mark can agree is not in anyway orthodox.

The movement from a material body to a spiritual body by Jesus is also Creationism.

When exactly did that happen?

ESV: John Chapter 20

[24] Now Thomas, one of the Twelve, called the Twin, was not with them when Jesus came. [25] So the other disciples told him, We have seen the Lord. But he said to them, Unless I see in his hands the mark of the nails, and place my finger into the mark of the nails, and place my hand into his side, I will never believe.

[26] Eight days later, his disciples were inside again, and Thomas was with them. Although the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, Peace be with you. [27] Then he said to Thomas, Put your finger here, and see my hands; and put out your hand, and place it in my side. Do not disbelieve, but believe. [28] Thomas answered him, My Lord and my God! [29] Jesus said to him, Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.

He has the authority and ability to do with it what he pleases. He did more than that at the end.

Yes he has the power, the only problem is that there is no documentation of the Son shedding his physicality

Could you explain how the resurrection, ascension, or the ability to make oneself be taken up or be made material are through a physical body?

Like I said, Creationism is about the creation of material bodies from the spirit. It also works vice versa. Jesus was an example of that.

No it is not about the conversion of spirit to matter but of both out of nothing
